He was willing to bead small jobs, instead of looking at everything we need to have done, and seeing big dollar sign, saying "Oh I just did the whole job, and do it all", assuming we would hire him that way. He would call us back and confirm when he was coming or when he couldn't come. In general, all around of what we would've expected a good contractor date. Honestly, he was the one who told us what he was going to do, and it sounded right. It wasn't that way, just comparing him with any other prices. But we had an opportunity to ask him to drop his price, because he didn't have to take out many of the already installed deck boards. The quality of his work is very good.
Description of Work: I used Rick Williams of Williams Construction to remove the exterior doors which were leaking.

+ 4 moreVery punctual. Reasonably priced. He had to work around my schedule so this job took him two days. He was there when he said he would be and very qualified. Very easy to talk with and he explained what he was going to do and how much the cost would be before he started the job. I would definitely call on this company again!
Description of Work: Installed bathroom sink & faucet and installed ceiling fans, replaced spot lights in yard and rewired (in past review he remodeled shower - tore old out and did the plumbing and built the shower floor and walls)

+ 5 moreI had a very satisfactory experience with Willams Construction. Mr. Williams explained everything he intended to do for each job. He was prompt, efficient and meticulous. His work was that of an expert craftsman.
Description of Work: Replaced outside boardsand insulation, applied weatherproof cloth to boards and re-applied siding for window replacement. Replaced flashing for the sunroom roof. (8/22/2011) Replaced kitchen faucet and installed soap dispenser. Installed a new ceiling fan remote. Replaced 4 faucets in the master bath which included two lavatory sinks, the shower and garden tub. Made a ceiling repair in the kitchen that required drywall tape, joint compound and sanding. (7/11/2012) Installed 3 ceiling fans, 1 attic gable fan and 2 ceiling light fixtures. Rewired the master bedroom ceiling fan for a dual switch. (8/23/2012)

Description of Work: We had a sagging floor. Mr. Williams spent four hours looking at the framing and working out where the problem lay. He came up with a detailed short term and long term plan. He installed praces and screw jacks which we adjust regularly until the floor straightens. Then we will move to phase two. Mr. Williams did an excellent job, honest and decent, if only all contractors were like this.

+ 1 moreThis gentleman did an outstanding job on several different projects. Highly recommend him. Honest and very fair. We were very impressed with his expertise and quality of work. Did what he said he would do in a timely manner at a fair price and completed the project on schedule.
Description of Work: Put in shower floor and plumbing for new shower. Installed shower fixtures. Electrical work for switches,outdoor lighting. quarter round on floor , made and stained and installed threshold.
