DO NOT HIRE! That statement is the only reason I am even putting his name on here. In hope anyone thinking of hiring him might read this and reconsider. First things first I'm pretty sure he was on drugs. It took 3 weeks to do my little bathroom. A 1 or 2 day job. He was sloppy, and very unskilled. He got stain EVERYWHERE. And not just drops here and there. He had these plastic gloves and would just touch everything with them on even though they had stain on them. Instead of staying everything outside he was so unorganized he would stain like half a board and hang it then stain the rest after it was hung.So I have stain all on my brand new floor, paneling, windows, shower, and pretty much anywhere his filthy hand could touch. Everything was measured and cut wrong. A lot of it I made him replace but after close to 3 weeks I said whatever I want this clown out of my house AND life forever. He would say he would be back tomorrow at 8 am but not actually show till 1 Pm or later. He also got silicone EVERYWHERE. Then if all that wasn't enough he tried to con me for another couple hundred dollars when he was close to getting done. He had 1 board to replace ( a board he messed up and almost refused to change. Said it would be ok) and 2 power outlets left to do when he brought up the extra money he was gonna try and charge me for something he claimed to do extra but actually didnt. And had I not and inspected I would have believed him but I had already notice it wasn't changed out just made to look like it was. So I made it clear that not only was I not paying the extra but I was very unhappy with his work. We went around in circles for a bit before deciding he would be back the next day to finish and we would discuss it then. He didn't come back, answer the phone or text for a week. I have plenty of pictures for anyone who thinks I'm exaggerating.
I found him on Facebook and chose him because of the likes on his page. It became the worst nightmare of my life. I hired him and he said the project would take about a week. He ripped up the walls and doors in my home when he removed my bathtub. He was doing drugs while he was in the home. He took my $3500 worth of materials and destroyed everything. He didn't even have a clue. It wasn't done in a week and finally I ran him off. He tried to file suit with me because I broke the contract, but I got a lawyer and when I checked around, I found that he had done this with another company, as well. He was trying to intimidate me. With all of the losses, I'm out about $10,000. Even the kitchen counter was done incorrectly. He cut it crooked and it had to be replaced, as well. He is absolutely a crook and everything he touched was broken.
Description of Work: He was supposed to put in a kitchen counter and remodel a bathroom.
