Really enjoyed working with Isenberg Spray Foam. They were very knowledgeable, professional and did an excellent job from start to finish. Converted the unfinished attic area above the garage to a bedroom and the owner worked with me every step along the way. I’d absolutely hire them again.

They were contacted by the company I hired to do my attic insulation. The other company did not do spray foam but recommended it for the band joists. There was a miscommunication on the time they were to arrive, as I was told something else the night before (from my original contractor--I never spoke with Isenberg until they showed up).
Zach and two people came on a truck and spent about an hour and a half. It involved going over and around a lot of ductwork, and the foam is obviously visible in my unfinished basement. However, I thought they did a fine job. I didn't have a lot of communication with him before, during, or after the project.
The price was higher than the line item for band joists from another contractor I contacted for foam insulation for the whole house (about $500 there), but the other company also had a minimum for bringing the truck out that was higher than what I paid Isenberg.

They advertise on public radio station and that’s how I came to hear about them. They are pretty much a standard service so I don’t know what that would consist of. It is about 8 inch spray foam in the attic and they also did 4 inch spray foam in the crawl space and laid down a vapor barrier. I have only recently gone through home energy analysis and was told they didn’t fully complete the job and didn’t necessarily follow up but they did a good job and everybody says that. I have had two home energy analysis done and they did a good job but didn’t follow up to fix some of the spots they left. Overall they did a good job and they are fairly reasonably priced and they were consistent with a couple of other quotes I got. They didn’t make a mess so I didn’t have any complaints so I realize they didn’t button it up as they didn’t do it fully. It is not that it has to be redone but I am going to have another contractor come back in and finish what they started. I have no major complaints but they didn’t really suggest anything that would have been more energy efficient. They didn’t remove the sill in the attic were that would have been a nice feature to have had done. If they would have cleaned up the sill which was on the floor after they put it in because it is obstructing the flow of warm air to the house so now I have to pay somebody to remove it. They didn’t suggest the other aspects associated with mooring the foam in the first place. They didn’t finished sealing the vapor barrier and I didn’t get a quote on it. I didn’t know what I didn’t know so I would have thought as the part of expertise they could have mentioned that these are the things that should be done as well and we could do it at this price but they only specialize in actual spraying of the foam and they are done. After the home energy analysis I wish they would have told me there are other things that needed to be done in addition to what they did. I would recommend them to somebody else but I would tell them to ask them to do this and this. It is expanding foam that appears to be moored for the boards of the ceilings. It is a single application so there really wasn’t much preparation needed to be done. They got here pretty quick.
