Darrin was right on time, very personable, and extremely thorough. Thanks to his inspection, some potentially major issues with the home were identified that were in no way obvious problems.

Mike and Justin were very professional and thorough with the inspection. They provided a short verbal and physical review of what they saw and then a complete written report.

It went great, Darrin was wonderful. took plenty of time to explain what he was looking for and what was found. Things to be concerned about, things to not worry about.

I used Mike when I bought my last house 13 years ago and thought he did a very thorough job. Did not hesitate to hire him for the inspection on our new house. As always, he was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and prompt.

After we bough the house many things came up that we had to repair that he should have noticed while he did the home inspection. We needed a whole new HVAC and he said it just needed to be serviced. We have also had electrical issues, roof/siding issues and the water pressure/heater issues (ie moving the water heater because it is sitting on the ground and he didn't notice or comment about it on inspection, need pressure valve, etc). We have only lived in the house for only 4 months and have had all these issues, and if he would have caught or pointed it out, we could have had the previous owners fix them, or come down on the price or not even bought the house.

Inspection was very thorough including the HVAC and Radon monitoring. Inspectors were patient and answered all our questions.

All concerns were called out and fully documented with pictures.

Had Darrin do my first inspection which fell through due to large amounts of water damage found during the inspection and requested him again for a second time he is always early very thorough and tries to help you understand anything that he finds during the inspection

Everything went fine. He sent some paperwork to review, and was responsive with any questions I had prior to the appointment. Mike was prompt to the appointment, and any time I had a question he was happy to answer it. He tested all of the appliances, got up on the roof, and inspected all of the areas of the basement. Anything he found, he pointed out to us and then also took pictures of. From the website, we logged in to see the report as well as get all of the documents needed for the loan underwriters. Overall it was a very smooth and pleasant experience.

Darin was off the charts outstanding. He was very thorough, patient and professional. He took the time to explain each of the concerns that he was identifying, and helped me to understand why those items were important to consider when purchasing the home.

We spent $650. He was very thorough and explained everything in detail, he didn't leave anything out and if I had questions he answered them immediately.

It turned out okay! Price was competitive compared to everybody else. They did a good job!

They could have been more thorough and explained it to me a little better, I think they missed a few things that's the reason I give them a B.

Michael did a very good and thorough job. He took his time to walk us through his findings and carefully explained every important thing that we needed to know. Later he sent a full report of his inspection in an email.

The inspector was very knowledgeable and friendly. Once the inspection was complete he walked me through what he saw and followed up with a very detailed written report. I will definitely use their service again in the future.

Two inspectors came out and were prompt, professional and very knowledgeable.

The inspection went well. He showed up on time and asked that I come an hour or so after the appointment time so he would have something to tell/show me. He was detailed and everything we went through was in the report, with pictures. He was clean, professional. I also had the termite and radon added on to the service.

Darrin Bachman with AA Home Inspection performed a whole house inspection along with termite and radon inspections for us. He was very professional, friendly and polite. He arrived early to inspect the roof which saved us time. He walked us thru everything he was inspecting. Along the way he gave helpful tips on maintenance and possible issues to watch out for. He was thorough, seemed very knowledgable and was able to answer all of our questions. He welcomed any questions and we didn't feel rushed. Darrin was extremely fast to get our inspection report to us and it was very detailed and organized. He encouraged us to call/email with any questions that might come up later. We are very satisfied with Darrin's inspection and highly recommend him.

** Udate 1/12/16 - 4 months after purchasing home **



My furnace has been cutting out all winter.  I've had three different companies come and all tell me the same thing - the furnace is TOO BIG FOR THE HOUSE.  Only fix is to replace the d*** thing.  Why didn't the inspector catch this?  See below.  He didn't catch ANYTHING.



No matter though. When I wrote this review the owner contacted me offering me a refund.   Only catch?  I had to sign a waiver releasing his company of any liability.  Shady company from top to bottom. STAY AWAY!  This inspector cost me $10K EASILY.

The guy was very nice and polite, but that's where my satisfaction ended.  First, there was a known crack in the foundation that had leaked water into the finished basement some time ago that he didn't catch.  Because I knew about it, I showed him and he added it to the report, but I was very concerned that he didn't notice it during his inspection.  Second, after we moved in, there were FLEAS in the house!!! I couldn't believe it.  I don't know how a licensed inspector didn't catch this, but they were TERRIBLE.  We've now spent over $500 and a month trying to get rid of them and we just can't.  It's terrible.  We have no pets, but the previous owner had cats and dogs.  Lastly, I just had my chimneys swept and they quoted me $7000 to fix my four fireplaces, saying they're COMPLETELY UNUSABLE.  Did this come up in the inspection? NOPE.  In fact, the only thing he pointed out was missing chimney caps and a small crack on the crown of one chimney, and said it just needed to be sealed.  The chimney company said EVERYTHING is wrong with the fireplaces and chimneys.  



In my opinion, this inspector cost me dearly.

Very nice dude.  Extremely friendly.  My only critique was that he missed some water damage that the previous inspector had told us about.  We had to show it to him, which was a bit concerning.  Was really expecting him to find it.  Other than that he did a great job on everything else.
