Overall very well, I just feel I was over charged. Found leak on Sun & left message with answering service. Was called Mon morning & scheduled Tues visit and they called before arriving. Main line was 3/4 inch copper which developed a pin hole leak. Could have cut out about 12" section & replaced with copper. I was quoted $250 to do this. I thought to myself, this whole line from entering foundation to entering house was questionable for further leaks. I asked the plumber this and he agreed and quoted $430 to replace 20' span with pex. Work was done quick. He only had to cut out old, solder 2 fittings to accept the pex. I didn't have time to get other plumbers out for quotes so I had him do it. I just don't see how 20' of pex should cost almost $200 more?

They arrived on time. It didn't take long to drain the hot water heater. The inpsection was very brief , because plumbing lines are all in the walls or in the slab!! I probaby wouldn't use again only because I have a regular plumber. ( I took the Big Deal because it was cheaper than having my regular plumber come out to drain the hot water heater)

They were fantastic. To start with they showed up on time. Since i had a list of things needing to be done they took a divide-and conquer approach. Once gentleman worked on the leaky toilet. He didn't just tighten the bolts as an amateur would have done. He took the toiler off of its mount and discovered the root cause of the leak and then repaired it completely. The cause turned out to be some piping that had degraded since the home was built over 40 years ago and he took the time to fix it properly. The other gentleman installed the dryer and patched a hole that had been drilled previously to clear a clog. He didn't just plug the hole, he installed a new clog access so that if the clog happens again it will be easy to fix. They reviewed some things that I had concerns about and lent some very expert advice on how to proceed. They checked on each other along the way to see if the other needed help. They informed me at every step of the way where they felt I should have more information about what was going on.
I will always call them for my plumbing needs. Next year I'm going to be remodeling a bathroom and Durbin Plumbing is the only name on my list to perform the plumbing work I will need.

He was not able to get the drain working. He said the next step would be to go into the walls and find out where the clog was. It would have been $200 just to do the basic work, which would include cutting through the wall from my closet and potentially reconfiguring the pipes to the two sinks. Since we want to remodel this bathroom before long, I decided to wait and just live with the very slow drain for now.

These folks pick up the phone on your first call. They came by the next day and quickly repaired my outdoor faucets. Most importantly, they were able to fix the problem with my water heater. The technician diagnosed the problem, and Doug (the owner of the company) even drove out that same day to confirm the problem with my water heater. Further, they took the time to call the manufacturer of the water heater, who advised that it was still under warranty. Very pleased that they "looked out for me" on keeping the cost as low as possible. Will definitely use them again!

We had an issue where the drain for the air conditioner was backing up into the basement. Durbin Plumbing came out the same day we called. He was punctual and analyzed the situation immediately. After a few minutes he was able to clear the drain. The price for such a short notice visit was exceptional. High marks all around. I will definitely be using them for future issues

They were eager to find the problem and got straight to work. In less than a half an hour they found a large clog in our main sewer line and removed it. Great guys, professional and with a great sense of humor! More than reasonable price. Durbin Plumbing will be the only plumber for this family, from now on!

I really didn't know what to expect but I was a little apprehensive because this is an older house and there can be surprises when you get into a repair of anything.
So I made sure I had had my coffee and I filled some containers with water to have if they had to turn off the water for a good while.
I was pleasantly surprised when all the work was done in about 2 hours and the guys had cleaned up and gone.
I don't have any leaky pipes in the basement anymore and no unpleasant odor in my house from the clogged sump pump trap.
Overall a positive experience!
Will call Durbin again if I have plumbing problems.

Called Durbin plumbing on friday afternoon and talked to Mr. Durbin. He said he would have someone come by on tuesday, he wasnot sureexactly what time but would give me a call befor they got there. I got the call and they showed uo about 20 minutes later.They gave me the quote, I accepted it and they started the work then and there.

I found the leak in the evening and sent an email to Durbin and stated I found them on Angies list. I received a call first thing in the morning and they were out the same afternoon. Great searvice on calling back and getting out there quickly to fix the problem. I identified myself again on the phone as an Angie's list member and my wife did again when they presented the bill and asked for the $30 disccount. The plumber told her she had to have a printed coupon to give the discount and would not honor the discount with out it. I looked at wording again on Angie's list and there was no mention of printing any coupon and it states to mention the discount only. I will not use the company again as they are not honest.

The team of two were punctual and very courteous. I had asked for a toilet to be installed on top of the plumbing inspection and was quoted $99. When the work was actually performed, I had 3 other items for them to repair (that were found during the inspection) and the price jumped to $300. This was on top of the fee already paid for the inspection. The technician talked me out of draining my hot water heater, which is why I called, it was, and still is, making noise when it refills. I should have stuck to my guns and had them drain it.
The crew was helpful and showed me what they were doing and how I could do it myself in the future. I have mixed reveiws of this company in that the price was so expensive for the minor work they performed.

"We are very sorry that the Member was upset at his final bill. We do feel that the $300.00 was a fair price considering the additional items that were found and repaired after he was was quoted the additional $99.00. We do understand that especially in this economy, no one wants to end up spending additional money, it is not a happy surprise. In terms of the water heater, we do make judgement calls when it comes to draining them. If a water heater is 8-12 years old or older, we have found that it can cause additional problems if a heater that old is drained. It can lead to leaking because the rust and sediment inside has been disturbed. This could lead to the water heater not being functional at all. We have a policy of explaining this in great detail and making the decision along with the customer, but it sounds like we did not give a thorough explanation in this case. We will be happy to come back and drain Mr. Turner's water heater at no charge. At Durbin Plumbing, we strive for 100% customer satisfaction."
