MAPLE STREET AUTOMOTIVE

My wife called this shop because her car was giving her trouble. She explained the problem, and added that her coolant system needed flushed, per our former mechanic in the state we just moved from, we just didn't have time in the move to get it done.  We dropped off overnight, and they started working the next day. They did not take accurate notes on the things to be worked on. They didn't call back for two days, and when she called them they said they lost her phone number. They proceeded to tell her that it wasn't an 'oil' light and they had topped off the coolant instead of flushing the system as requested just to 'shut the light off; they hadn't even checked for the primary problem. She explained the primary problem again, and I'm guessing they plugged the car up to a diagnostic machine and got the code. I took the call saying that the car was ready, and that they couldn't repair the issue in shop, which is the only understandable part of this whole thing, the code was transmission issues. Overall my wife got the impression that they did not listen to her because she is a girl, and we were both unimpressed by the service. Advanced autoparts could have done the same diagnostic for free and any idiot can fill coolant. We pretty much just wasted our time and money. I would not recommend these guys to anybody.
