Ultra Shield Wood Care System

We bought a 7-yr protection warranty for a leather sectional.  It cost $200.  When I called to get repair under the warranty the representative asked questions specifically geared to exclude us.  I would have needed a lawyer to know how to answer the questions in the "right way" to get coverage.  She wanted to know exactly when and how the damage occurred, whether we have pets or children, etc. 
The brochure we were given when we bought the warranty did not make it clear how extremely useless the warranty is to cover very common causes of damage.  It included protection against, among other things, "rips and tears" in leather furniture. 
Except, apparently, if you have kids or dogs in the home.  Then perhaps you shouldn't bother buying this product.  Or be sure to have a security camera focused on the furniture at all times so you can record exactly what happened and when.

It went horrible and I would never recomend anyone purchase this plan it is not worth the price for all the more they cover.  Their customer service department is horrible. You can leave message after message and they are not anywhere close to being prompt in calling back.  Had their customer service representative listened the first  time I called and made notes that the bed was cracked where the screws hold the bed together, not scratched, we all could have been saved a lot of time and effort and irriation.  Had their customer service bothered to return a call when messages are left, I would not have had to continually call them to try to get some sort of reply as to what the next step in getting my sons bed fixed would be. 

And when I call to speak to a supervisor to complain about the horrible experience I had been having with their customer service department, all they continually tell me is that cracks are not covered by my protection plan.  I told them, I am not calling to complain that the plan does not cover cracks, I am calling to complain about the horrible customer service.  About the fact I had to call, Ultra Shield made no attempts to reach me after the technician left my house.  Their technician left my  house with no instructions as to the next steps or what we should expect. 
When I finally get hold of someone at Ultra Shield I get told sorry dont cover that, you are on your own.
Never again will I purchase this product and I would not recommend this product to anyone ever either.
