Somerset Pet Lodge

Monti LOVES the pet lodge! He is so excited every time we go and is exhausted from playing with his friends at the end of the day. We are so thankful to have a place that takes such great care of our boy!

This place is a disaster. I know first hand. I used to work here and the only good reviews on here are from the crazy owner and her friends. The customers are fooled into leaving their dogs there to board and do day are in a suite, not knowing they are made sleep half the day I quit because I wasnt comfortable with how the dogs were treated. No one is with your dog past 6pm No one comes in until 8 am the next day. There is pee and poop everywhere when employees first get there from the poor dogs. Just because a place looks nice doesnt mean they are treating the animals any better. The owner puts on a very good act. Her staff would stay if it wasn't for the way she treats them. People leave tips for the employees that she keeps. I can only imagine the grooming accidents and dog fights since I left. I have heard there have been neglectful things go on there within the last year. I feel sorry for the animals. There are PLENTY of other certified groomers and boarding facilities with trained professionals to go to. I would NOT recommend going here. Trust me.

Great. He was very content, ate well, played with the other dogs and seemed happy when we picked him up. The staff is very conscientious of his age and eating habits( sensitive stomach). They seem to genuinely care.

Somerset Pet Lodge is a much needed service in this area. The staff greets you at the door and our dogs were taken back to the boarding area, and what a boarding area it is! Ceramic tile with ornamental gates on each individual pet kennel. The outside area is even more impressive with plenty of room to run and dividing areas for each different size of dog.There is also a very nice grooming area available. A daily regimen is set for play times and exercise. A list of any special needs or medications was taken for each dog. I also received a contact call during our vacation letting us know how our dogs were doing during their stay. When picking them up they were relaxed and happy which told me immediately that they were well cared for and loved! Highly Recommend!

Indoor sleeping area is cleaned three times a day. They have an area to run and play that is partially covered by a tarp. You can bring your own food in to use. They do grooming while your dog is there if you'd like. They keep dogs separate if necessary. They have a large area for your dogs to run. It is privately owned. The pickup is 24 hours a day. They accommodate your schedule for drop off and pick up. They do a great job of making your dog feel like he is at home. They give you a full report on your dogs behavior after their stay. Very reasonably priced.
