HYUNDAI OF SOMERSET

The recalls on the truck hadn't been fixed and with in four days of buying it the suspension locked up and engine cut off and made me wreck. Don't know why any dealership would let someone leave in a vehichle knowing that they could possibly die. I have three kids and am very lucky to still be here or anyone else that could been in the accident. I called them to see about a thirty day warranty since that is something that is post to come with every car sold. The guy that I talked to just said to sue them and also when mentioned the engine was ruined because they had water in the oil he said we don't change the oil then I menioned the sticker with their name and address and what oil they used he changed his answer to well we don't use water oil. Also said to sue them again.

Start to finish was fast and completed before promised time.

after waiting much longer than i should have i was finally approached by a salesman. he did not seem interested in me or in helping me find a car. only after i specifically asked to test drive a car was i given the opportunity.

THE FIRST WRITTEN ESTIMATE WAS OVER $1000.00. I HAD RECEIVED ANOTHER ESTIMATE FROM ANOTHER REPAIR SHOP THAT WAS 1/2 THE ESTIMATE GIVEN ME AT HYUNDAI. WHEN I QUESTIONED THE MAN ABOUT HIS ESTIMATE, HE SAID THE SEAL AROUND THE TRUNK WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED AND THAT WOULD COST AROUND $80. HE WANTED ME TO GO OUTSIDE AND LOOK AT THE PART HE WAS TALKING ABOUT. WHEN WE OPENED THE TRUNK AND SAW MY CAR DID NOT HAVE A SEAL AT ALL, HE STAMMERED AND SAID HE THOUGHT THERE WAS A SEAL TO REPLACE BUT HE GUESSED HE WAS WRONG. THEN HE WROTE A SECOND ESTIMATE AND IT WAS ABOUT $100 LESS THAN THE FIRST ESTIMATE. IT SURE LEFT ME DOUBTING HIS KNOWLEDGE AND HIS INTEGRITY, AS WELL AS THE INTEGRITY OF HYUNDAI OF SOMERSET.
