I recommend them very strongly too. They were fabulous. They were the folks that I will call whenever I have a plumbing issue. When all those freezes were happening and all my neighbor's water pipes and the lines were busting, they came out to my house that day from Shepherds ville and helped me prevent that from happening. They're just amazing people. We were very, very happy with them. They were out more than once for us. I had them drop off four bottles of a product that they sell that helps keep your drains free which is enzyme, it is environmentally healthy. They were awesome. We were expecting a major problem and we were thrilled. every time they came out, I never felt like they overcharged us. Their people are just wonderful.

This is the e-mail I sent to the management at JHP explaining my experience. They sent someone out the next week to test my water heater at no charge to me and replaced my shower head with a generic 2 GPM which worked well enough. I put a brand new 2.5 GPM head on and it lasts about 30 Min before going luke warm. This is apparently enough to pass all the GE tests, but I find it unacceptable for the $890 price. JHP has not attempted to contact me since, nor have I them; it's good enough I guess. I WILL NOT be using JHP in the future nor will I EVER buy another GE APPLIANCE.
and quot;Angela can verify that I left a message while you were out on surgery and I have left at least 4 messages for you at various times over the past couple weeks since you have returned from surgery. (I’m glad you are doing ok.) This is all in regards to my 50 Gallon water heater’s lack of performance. When I called you for the first time in mid-January. I stated that my current 48 gallon A.O. Smith water heater used to be great, but after 9 years it only lasts for 1 shower. You confirmed that it sounded like a problem. It could be sediment buildup or a dip tube and you offered to try and repair for $400ish or I could just replace it. I opted to replace it given its age with your company over your less expensive competitors (Lowe’s) because of your candid demeanor and your profound promise that you and Home Depot stand behind their products and that you offer the best service around. I liked you, so I spent $890 to have a multiple shower household again. Your installers were fast and friendly. From the very first shower my wife took, she complained to me. We have timed it multiple times, it only takes 18 min on a 2.5 gpm shower head with a typical hot/cold mixture to go cold. You may remember that I called you shortly after our Jan 15th installation with this complaint and you stated that the ground water could be colder than average causing this; and you acted flabbergasted when I told you we have 2.5 gpm shower heads and that we needed a 1.5 gpm shower heads. I gave it some time for the weather to warm up before I started looking for a 1.5 gpm shower heads. Home Depot and Lowes do not sell any as the industry standard appears to be 2.5 gpm. I called you again to discuss the issue and you told me to call GE to do some troubleshooting and request them to send your staff out to test it. This came as quite a shock because of your overwhelming promise in the beginning to “stand behind your products”. Regardless, I called them and you were not listed as one of the authorized repair companies. I called and spoke with Angela who also confirmed, you are no longer one of their authorized repair companies. This also came as quite a shock since you are associated with Home Depot. After discussing my issue with them, it turns out that that they only guarantee 70% of 50 gallons which means an 18 min shower is about right to them. So, If I were to schedule a test call with someone and it turns out that the Water Heater is working to their standards, then I would have to pay a trip charge to another plumber. Since then I have left multiple messages to discuss what our options might be at this point. I feel incredibly misled from the very beginning. I feel like my problem has been placated in hopes of it going away. I feel like I have paid $890 for a water heater that performs about as good as my 9 year old model. I will not make any demands or threats here. I simply ask that you try and look at this from my perspective and do everything within your power to make this right and let me know what that will be sometime next week.and quot;

Technician arrived as scheduled and was polite and professional. Examined all the plumbing in the general area of the leak and determined that the water was coming from the refrigerator.

Replacement went well but $174 for 25 minutes of work is exorbitant

He did a really good job on this. He was able to put the same tile back without chipping it. He was a very competent plumber. He referred us to someone who is capable of doing master plumbing level work that involves reconstruction of the shower basin as well as the bathroom itself. I would hire them again.
