JAMES MUMAW PAINTING & REMODEL

mr mumaw was a disaster. at the end of the job, there was paint on pots & pans which were in cabinets, there bwas paint on the windows that theydid not scrape, there was a paint spill on an area rug($$)that he took no responsibility for & he was walking away w/ cabinet doors that we had replaced(stealing?). for this privelege, i pd over $100/ hr to mr mumaw & his helper(each) this was a repulsive experience. i had to hire a different painter to clean up the botched job.

They were very, very good. They were good people and worked hard. They stayed extra hours to get it done. We had no complaints whatsoever. We have recommended them. Our insurance helped with the roofing. We got several bids for the roofing and they were high to begin with. They matched our bottom estimate. We really wanted them to do it because they took care of little things along the way that they saw that were done incorrectly. They went the extra mile and fixed what needed to be fixed. The roofing job was much better than our original job. We have some extra projects we want to get done and we will call them first. At first we thought the price was high, but they did so much work and did so much extra that we thought it was worth it. It is a family business. There were here when they said they would be and they called. They asked if they could work on a Sunday. We trusted them and left the house open for them.
