About a month after the driveway was put in it collapsed during a heavy rain at the entryway. We repeatedly called Bid Rite to repair the driveway and couldn't get them to return our call. It was difficult to get in and out of the driveway with it in this condition and we could not get them to call or come back. Finally after weeks of calling he sent his brother out to repair the driveway and charged us a  large additional fee. They used different aggregate and now the top of the driveway doesn't match the bottom of the driveway. Also, they got black sealant  spots all over the bottom of our brand new, freshly painted garage door. Again, we called a number of times to no avail. Meanwhile, I had to hire someone to come out and repaint the garage door and the top and bottom sections of the driveway still don't match and they're still not returning our calls. Bid Rite was the cheapest but we definitely paid for it in the end. You get what you pay for.

It went fine. They repaved my driveway about 5 years ago and they came back to coat it. I have no complaints.

Because I had a sidewalk put in shortly before then, the parking started to crumble at one end. He came back and said "I'm sorry, it wasn't good. It was because he ran over it too much with the big machinery. It squished it down too much." He said that it should be fine. It started to crumble. They sprayed the sealer. It looked like they didn't put anything on there. He kept coming up with all these excuses. It looked like they sprayed my driveway with heavy coffee. It was nothing like a sealer that I would normally see guys put down on the driveway. My parking pad had dips in it because they didn't tuck it down good enough. I wasn't happy with the job at all. The pricing was bad too because they didn't do a good job. Their friendliness and responsiveness wasn't so bad. Their sealing was lousy especially for the pricing it costed. The parking pad wasn't good. They did show up when they said they would be here. They shouldn't make excuses but they should make it right.

I contacted the owner and it took 2-3 calls prior to him arriving to give me a bid.

When we first called them the salesman came out and was extremely professional. He did a walk-through and all the measuring for us. We were just trying to get quotes and wanted to wait to do it in the spring, but the fellow who came was very courteous and did everything pretty good with giving us the quote. Me and my wife talked it over and called him back and the very next day they started on it and had the whole entire thing done in one day. There's one little spot I think they didn't put enough stuff down and I noticed it when I was washing it. I looked at it an angle and could kind of tell along a retainer wall. When I mentioned it to him he said if they were to add a few more shovel loads and pack it down it would almost look like a patch and the way it is now it all looks uniformed and like one good solid thing of asphalt. We were going to originally get concrete, but the guy said it would cost double and be around $7,000 to have it done. It actually looks good and goes from the back gate all the way to the back of the garage and then there's another part. We told him we may call him in the spring to do the front of the house. He also told me to keep an eye on that spot and that it has a one year warranty on it, but even though that happened overall we're happy with it.

Overall the driveway installed has been fine although the grain of asphalt used was much more coarse than I would have preferred and the edges were fairly sloppy. However, it rained within the first week of installation, and I immediately noticed puddles in several areas of the driveway when it had not even been driven on yet. It was most definitely not a smooth surface.
I left a message for the company, and texted the owner with pictures of the puddles. I never received a response.
While the work was done quickly and cheaply, I basically got what I paid for and not a penny more.

I noticed Joe's, the owner, truck at a local restaurant. I ask him if he was going to eat there or get his food to go. He said he was getting it to go. So I ask him if he had time to follow me home and give me an estimate. He said sure that would be no problem. He came over and we talked about what I wanted done. He explained to me how they would accomplish all the projects. He told me when they would be here to start and finish. They arrived on time and worked all day. They finished all the jobs in one day. The workers were very professional and friendly. I felt totally at ease talking to them about what they were doing and the next step. They cleaned up everything

The next day when I could walk on the driveway I noticed that the drain from my garage was not visible outside. I had told them that I did not want the drain to be extended with black perforated hose that I had. They had bought a PVC pipe to extent it. I had told them that is what I wanted because it was PVC pipe coming from my garage. With further examination I discovered they had used the black hose. I am going to have to dig a ditch and extend it further in the yard.

Other than that I am very pleased with the work. All my neighbors have come down to see the driveway and said how wonderful it looks.

Overall the experience was great. Had it done in a day. Very easy to deal with. Price was great. They made sure that I was happy with there work before I paid them a dime. I would definitely use them again.
