They take NO responsibility. My neighbor hired them and they punctured my main water line to my house and told me their contract said they were not liable. No remorse, no help from either Shuck or my neighbor. Eight days later I repaired it myself. Bad company, worse neighbor. I would have given them "ZERO" stars.

They were excellent. Very punctual. Couldn't ask for better service or price.

First, the office and sales personnel worked with me an initial, and a revised estimate. I went to the place of business while in the area. The office manager and sales rep took me to look at fences they built in the surrounding area. I was impressed with their work. So I contracted with Shuck to do my horse fence. The crew manager contacted me when he was on the way to my state, and stayed in touch to let me know when they, and the materials would arrive. The crew and manager arrived late afternoon. The manager immediately started helping me lay out the fence line. The following mornings, the fence crew and manager arrived promptly at dawn and worked until sunset. They worked extremely hard and efficient but were very meticulous. They were also very neat in that they kept left over material and scrap cleaned up. And they were also very careful with rolling their heavy equipment over a brand new riding ring. And I was astonished on how quickly the fence went up. The manager and crew work extremely well together. The crew manager was very helpful in laying out the fence in accordance with the angles of the house and barn. And giving advice on my ideas that would not work. I appreciated his expertise very much. The proof is in the result The fence looks fantastic and the workmanship is the best. I will definitely hire Shuck Fence again.

Shuck responded quickly after the initial call, and provided a written estimate. Due to heavy demand, Shuck was unable to start the job for a few weeks, but once they were on site the job was completed quickly, except for two or three day delay due to weather. Shuck personnel were friendly and professional throughout the project, from the first salesman to the installers. When the foreman on the first crew took ill, Shuck brought in a crew from out of the area to keep the job moving. I am very satisfied with the work and would definitely use Shuck again.

They were very easy to work with and helped me understand the process and my options the entire way. Their estimate was cheaper than others and it was accurate. They had a very open communication with the scheduling and the work that was being done. They were very professional and did a good job.

They put it up in the morning and it was done by the end of the day. They are topnotch and professional. No mess was left behind. There was no flaws of defects. They were dead on the dollar for their estimate. I like their speed and their accuracy. They knew what they were doing. It was like they knew my yard better than I do. They just came through, made their marks. They had a fantastic system. You could tell that they do this everyday. They had two people to do one particular task and the other two people to do their task. They were communicating without talking. It was really impressive. I would recommend them to friends and family. They are professional and they do a topnotch job.

They are great. They are very professional. Their price was less than other estimates we had. The owner was out here himself and we had a water line problem, and he would not go forward without confirmation that the water line was in the correct place. The part of the fence that they've put in already is as straight as an arrow.

This has been one of the most horrible experiences I ever had. Don't use Shuck Fence...spend a couple of extra dollars and go to Lowe's or Home Depot. The estimate process went well. When the guys came out to install the fence, there was a breakdown in communication between Shuck Fence and the people they actually use to install the fence. They dug holes and poured cement in the wrong place because Shuck Fence did not communicate to them that it was a shadowbox fence. When I called and spoke to the owner of Shuck Fence, Keith, he was rude and blamed me for not communicating to the installers. I explained to him that it was a shadowbox fence from the beginning and if I was paying $2500 for a fence to be installed and paid the deposit, they should have communicated to the installers. He was rude and ridiculous and I will never do business with them again. Now, I have cement holes in my backyard that they refused to remove because according to Keith it was my fault. DO NOT USE SHUCK FENCE!!! WASTE OF MONEY AND THEIR PRODUCT IS CHEAP AND OVERPRICED!!!!

I had four quotes before making my decision. In making my decision I would look for fences as I drove around. When I saw one with a sign designating the installer I would get out and look at the quality. I was able to find fences from all the companies that I received quotes from and found two that were of equally high quality. So it came down to the initial price. Shuck was unusually lower than the other so I called them to be sure that they understood excatly what I wanted. There were indeed several misunderstandings including, among others, that I needed the 2x4and quot; no-climb fence along the back portion of the property (my neighbors have draft horses that would tend to and quot;walk-downand quot; any other fencing). After the misunderstandings were settled they came in just a bit above the other. So I visited the locations of both companies. I found that the other company did not have everything that would be needed for my installation in-stock and Shuck did. I also just got a better 'vibe' from my visit at Shuck. So with all that taken into account I went with Shuck.

The first day that I was quoted for materials delivery fell through. I had to call the next day to ask what had happened (delivery truck broke down). They rescheduled for the next week and this time they delivered on time. It was raining a lot so it took a couple of weeks for them to be able to actually start construction of the fence (not their fault of course). Once construction started they were very efficient and the quality of the finished product was exactly what I asked for.

I had another case of a missed appointment for the fence painting, no explanation was given but a new date was set and honored. The painting was completed in a matter of hours (amazing how that works). The only problem that I had with the painting was that they pained over the Shuck Fence red metal sign that was attached to the fence (oh well I guess they lose the advertising).

Overall it was a good experience. The main thing that I would take out of this is that you need to know EXACTLY what you want going in before you get any quotes (draw it out with notes!) but most important in that is that the person giving the quote completely understands what you want! In the end I would certainly recommend Shuck Fence.

They were supurb in every way. Showed up bright and early and on time. Were very polite and cautious where to unload and place equipment. Went right to work on the layout, allowed me to tweek a few things and gave me thier professional opinion when I inquired. Upon the approved layout, they went to work and it was hard to believe it could all be done in one day but they were very very efficient. Finished before the sun went down and I couldn't stop beaming over how beautiful the property now looks.

Over all I would say they were professional, curteous and provided excellent quality. They even managed to come in under the budget number listed above (which was already lower than any local fence company I inquired with)... who could ask for anything more?
