Pool and Spa Servicing
I have contacted a collection lawyer in Louisville who is filling a lawsuit this week against him. I will file a report with the KY department of revenue since I think this guy is not paying his fair share of taxes with the excuse that he has gotten bounced checks from others. Don?t hire this crook. I?m out $3500 plus the cost of 20,000 gallons of water and now lawyer fees, courts fees, sheriff fees, etc. Check the more pictures of his work at http://s1165.photobucket.com/albums/q582/dam125/pool%20pictures/
Update 08/20/2012 Lawsuit has been filed [case number 12 c006997] He has responded with an attorney who has contacted mine and who has been given copies of pictures and video of my pool liner. I think he might want to settle after his lawyer saw the picture. I really hope he will want to continue with the lawsuit and it goes to trial. I want him to tell the Judge this is what a liner should look like. I will keep you posted as this continues.
Update 01/08/2013. Waiting for new court date since key witness not available on day of original scheduled court day in December 2012. Will update when case is final.
Update 04/08/2013: Today in Jefferson Court we won the case for all the money we paid Mr Bates [$3500]. We will start collection process with a collection agency as soon as we can hire one. We will file something with the BBB too. Word of caution, there are some companies in the area that bid for a pool job, win the bid and they pay 3rd parties to do their work. Make sure you ask about this person being in the team. Get a written estimate & Good luck. I'm in the process of looking for a company to re do the job this person completely messed up.
