I highly recommend Floyd & Sons for your home projects, having hired them to prep and paint the interior of my garage, several doors, porch ceiling and pressure washing/stain a pergola. Travis showed up on time as promised and was well prepared for the initial meeting, traveling from Independence to California, KY. He gave a fair and reasonable estimate and was very personable and knowledgeable of the work to be done. He and his helper did a great job on the wall prep, pressure washing, wood repair, painting and staining. They went above and beyond, kept me well-informed on the progress and were very easy to work with. I would hire this Company again.

Their painting was awful, runs and streaks everywhere. Used exterior paint in the living room and hallway. Tried to lay down flooring with nails and staples still in the sub floor. They said it is not their job to remove them. If I could post pictures of their unprofessional work I would. Basically paid them $500 to leave my house.

I hired Floyd and Sons to rebuild my basement after a flood. They installed insulation, drywall, floors, doors, baseboards, new vanity, painted, etc. They arrived when promised, did a great job, and were very good with communication in terms of next steps, timing, etc. They worked around my odd schedule and were a pleasure to have in my home. I believe they provided a fair estimate, advised me where I could save some money, and kept to that estimate throughout the project. They didn't nickel and dime me when little things popped up. I've already recommended them to a family member & will certainly use them in the future for other projects as they arise.

Mr. Floyd and his team tackled a huge tree that was taken down in the ice storm. He was prompt in showing up from the first day he gave me the estimate to the last day that he and his team trucked out the last load of wood. They stuck to the estimate cleaned up area and was professional and courteous every step of the way. It is good to know that there are great reputable companies like Floyd & Sons that you can count on!

This was a really good experience. The first attempt at fixing our problem did not work fully, but Travis came back out the next business day and did additional work at no additional cost. He was prompt in responding to me when I alerted him to the problem with the initial repair via e-mail. He was also very courteous to my family. My only complaint was that it was a little messy. While I understand the sanding leaving a mess, he left some dry wall compound on my toilet and front door. Thankfully I noticed both quickly.

The company was very courteous, they were on front on everything, they kept me informed of everything going on; everything was perfect! I would like to put down "6" stars instead of five.

Floyd and Sons recently installed a front door for me and did a terrific job! They are very professional and reasonably priced. I will be having them come back to do a couple more jobs, I highly recommend them!

The contractor initially evaluated the tree-trim job and quoted an agreeable price. His bucket truck was disabled the day of the job, but he came to the job site anyway (which was fine) but he only brought a large step ladder when really one or more extension ladders were needed to do the job safely and expeditiously. The job got done but the whole event was very precarious.

They built a window seat for our nursery to match our master bedroom. The value for the quality of work was excellent.

Travis did a great job on the list of things I needed done. He was able to get to them quickly. I've already called him back to do another handy man job for me!

They were nice and polite. Responded to the request very quickly. The amount paid did not reflect what was expected.
