I paid them close to $500, which was half of the cost of the closet doors, on 3/24/14. They said that they could contact me before coming out and doing the job, but it would take a couple of weeks. I told them that was fine. Eight weeks after not hearing from anyone, I called them and the woman who answered the phone told me that they had lost an employee and had to hire someone else and they were working on my doors right then (miraculously, they were doing that just as I called!). She then told me that they should be out in about a week. I waited another week and a half, then went down there and the main person wasn't in, but the woman at the front desk said that the regular person wasn't in either, but she would have her call me that day. Again, no call. I went in another week later and told them I wanted my deposit back. She very kindly told me she could do that and wrote me a check. Now, this whole thing went about 13 weeks and they didn't apologize, ever call me to let me know anything, and didn't even bother with an excuse for why they didn't even care about doing my doors, much less they will be missing out on the $4,000 job I had considered using them for. And I guess so much for the doors they were supposedly working on when I called them!
I have told others about this, including one person who already had a negative experience with a job they actually went out and did. If they didn't want my business, they should have told me upfront instead of taking my money. This is the poorest customer service I've ever received since I moved to KY. How they are still in business, I don't know but I will spread the word to as many people as I can about this company's shady dealings and poor service.
