We had to call Mark several times to come out and finish the work he started. We almost reached opening date without most of our lights installed even though we had contacted him a month and a half prior to the opening date. Recently, 1month ago, we contacted him for the simple service of installing a cooktop into our wall. He told us he was busy, so we kept trying to communicate when he could come out. He set up an appointment for Saturday morning, and didn't show. We contacted him and he said he would come out Monday morning. He never showed. Then he said he could definitely do it Thursday, so we wait around for 3 hrs and attempted to call him. We did not get an answer until we tried calling from a different number. Then he said we were not a priority for him, he would not be willing to do what we needed, and that he's so busy, he needs a vacation. This is the epitome of unprofessionalism... If he had been upfront, we could have gotten another electrician in this week, as this install is the highest priority for our business, but he chose to jerk us around instead. Thankfully, Buck Electric shuffled their appointments around for tomorrow to fit us in last minute. PLEASE AVOID THIS ELECTRICIAN IF YOU NEED WORK ACCOMPLISHED IN A TIMELY MANNER OR VALUE COMMUNICATION!

We had a number of electrical chores that had been neglected too long. A neighbor recommended Mark. I'm glad he did. First, Mark's business is a one-man operation. It took him about a week to get to me because I told him none of the work was urgent. He is worth the wait. If you have an emergency, he can probably fit you in.
-- The rewiring of the LR lights required some careful diagnosis, and Mark quickly tracked down what he needed to do. That job included reviving a two circuits that had been unused since 1992 when a switchplate was covered by a built-in cabinet. Mark cut a hole in the back of the wall (the hall side) and found the old junction box. Then he had to track two circuits and rewire a couple of ceiling lights and a wall switch in the LR. That required quite a few trips into the hot attic. 
-- The garage had a switch that didn't control anything, and an outlet that had not functioned since another electrician did some work a few years ago. The switch was easy; it just needed to be replaced. The outlet was dead because the supply wire had been cut IN the circuit box. No idea why, but it had to have been the previous electrician. 
-- Anyway, Mark is friendly, careful but quick, and best of all, extremely competent.
