They got us in relatively quick. I wasn't really pleased with their service. Our dog had an abscessed gland and they didn't use any pain medication. The pain medication they provided us didn't do anything. Their clinic is very clean. The staff was friendly and professional. The doctor appeared to be professional but they don't have 24-hour service call. We ended up having to take the dog to a 24-hour clinic in Richmond.

We have a long-term relationship with Dr. Short. He is with Town and Country Veterinary Clinic. He will even come out to the farm to give horses their vaccinations. We have been using him for many years and he has been very upfront on everything. If an animal is dying, he will very gently tell us that things are not going well and that we should consider some options. He has a very professional way about dealing with the person as well as the animal. His prices are comparable with other veterinarians.
