First of all, they charged me $4,500. I thought it was ridiculously high, but there was a large area to cover and my Mom and Sister had used them in the past. Second, my father caught the owner in a lie about the mulch and termites. Third, they advised me I called at the right time as they were not backed up and could get to me right away. They told me they would be there on Thursday or Friday of that week, but it was the following week before they arrived. A few days of the delay was due to rain, but overall it was because of lack of planning on their part. Finally, I now have weeds and grass coming back in my landscaping after just two weeks. I called the owner to complain and they told me to buy $6.00 of round-up from them. I realize that my landscaping was nothing but grass and weeds prior to planting, but I paid for weed prevention. I was told they would treat it for weeds and that I would have to reapply in 3 months. I also have a big clump of grass that you can tell was not ground up as it was supposed to have been. If I had such a weed problem before planting, why was that not addressed? You would think $4500 would cover it.

They are not cheap, but they are very good. Whatever trees they put in, they guarantee it for one year and if anything happens they would replace it. They have already replaced 3 of them.

The job was done in a very timely manner. Chris came out in the morning to remove all the old plants. He was extremely courteous and efficient. Then additional workers came to do the planting. Everything was put in place and we were able to make changes before the planting began. That was excellent and we were not tied to the original drawings Tom had made. The entire job took slightly more than 1 day. If it had not been for the fact that Silver Cliff was closing early on Memorial Day, it would have been completely finished in 1 day. We were actually glad that they took time off for the holiday.
When the work was complete, all plants and trees were watered, trees were staked, and the surrounding area was cleaned. Everything was spotless. The gentlemen who had worked so hard to make our home look awesome didn't just leave when the job was complete. They asked us to come outside and look at everything to make sure it was satisfactory. It was so much more than satisfactory!
Tom know his products so well and he knows what plants look good with others. He knows how each plant, shrub and tree grows so we are not surprised later by a tree or bush growing much larger than we wanted. His entire staff is extremely professional and efficient. I would recommend Silver Cliff to anyone needing any landscaping work, no matter how small or large.

We were very disappointed in the tree that we received. Within 3 months, one of the trees died, they did replace it. Within 8 months a second one of the same trees died. Now at 2 + years later, there has been no growth on any of these particular trees. This coming summer, we will be taking these three trees out and replacing them. The other trees are doing ok, but were so small to start, will take al long time to see any significant growth! We had used silver cliff previously in another house and were extremely pleased with the trees, plants, etc. had beautiful landscaping from them!! Not sure what happened between the two times.

All staff I met were polite cheerful and competent. All outdoor staff I met were also knowledgeable about the plants, patient with me, articulate in describing how to plant and care for the plants. Great selection, speedy check out.

This landscaper charged me $200 to haul my expensive river rock away. I helped shovel it for eight hours. He took my rock and drove it to his pond for his landscaping. The guy who drove the truck told me that's where he was going. He was getting my rock for free. There were so many other things. I had gotten two bushes. He charged me $86 dollars. I told him to take them back and he only refunded me $56 dollars. I have had three of the trees die after they planted them. They didn't stake them. The wind comes in from the west and the trees were doing a lot of moving. He wouldn't replace them. He charged for things that they didn't do. They were at least very friendly.
