I'm very impressed with Ireland Heating and Cooling, Ritchie came here today, and he did a routine maintenance on my unit. The technicians are always on time, and they are professionals and dependable. I would recommend them to anybody.

Ireland was great! Sent there Trane sales rep to the house to talk about different options for our house. Very professional and explained everything. The tech came a few weeks later to install the system and was very professional and clean install. Explained everything about the system to me and showed me how to change the filter and what exactly the system does.

Response from Ireland Heating & Cooling Inc
"Mr/Ms [removed member name], I regret that we weren't able to get right to you, we do our very best to offer rapid response. Unfortunately during the hot summer months we usually have a backlog, and from my experience every reputable HVAC contractor has the same problem. We run all of our calls in the order they are received, once again I do apologize we weren't able to get to you immediately."

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION with this company. There were some misunderstandings on both parties, but everything turned out well. This company remains very transparent with the dealings on all aspects of the pricing on the unit, trade-in allowances, etc. Should anyone need an HVAC unit, I highly recommend Ireland Heating & Cooling. Very fair with their customers.

Everything went well until we requested the return of the $136.00 for the defroster sensor to the old system as promised by Joe Ramirez during the initial conversation of purchasing the Trane system. At the outset, was told by Joe the entire HVAC system would be replaced for the cost of $7,900.00. I kept asking about the $136.00 refund of the old defroster sensor since Ireland came out and serviced the old system. I also requested any and all refund monies "trade-in cash allowance up to $1,250.00" which I read, cut out, and again requested of Ireland to refund (June 25, 2013 News Enterprise).
As of the writing of this review, I have had to personally contact Joe requesting that our system have all warranty work registered with Trane, which had been done the very day I made the visit to Ireland; asked about the trade-in cash allowance and when we were to receive the check for $136.00 refund on the old defroster sensor. Joe stated that when the contract was written up on June 25, 2013, he specifically wrote in that this "included all discounts and credits" and the entire system was $7,900.00.
Now, I know my math is rusty, but if one would subtract ALL trade-in allowances from the $7,900.00, we would not have had to finance $10,953.60. And, as of the writing of this review, we still have yet to receive from Ireland Heating & Cooling the $136.00 refund promised by them.
BUYER BEWARE: if homeowners need to have an entire HVAC system replaced as we did this past summer, be specific in your questions: (1) what is the cost of the ENTIRE unit BEFORE trade-in allowances, refunds, etc.; (2) what is the cost of the ENTIRE unit AFTER trade-in allowances, refunds, etc.; how many times must an individual keep asking questions regarding the trade-in allowances, refunds., etc. before you get a straight answer.
I must say I have learned a lot from reviewing this contract. If I take the original amount of the loan - $10,953.60 and subtract $7,900.00, Ireland Heating and Cooling walked away with a cool $3,053.60; a far cry from the $1,250.00 trade-in allowance as well as the $136.00 which has NEVER been returned to us. Currently, we are on a 12 month same as Cash Option. Every time I have requested in person and/or in writing (2) letters requesting information about the trade-in allowances and the refund of $136.00, there has always been a "song and dance around the issues" or better yet -- no response.
At this time, I am very upset that Ireland Heating & Cooling has chosen the path of least resistance when questions are being asked and there is no response. Why is it we are paying well over $7,900.00 for the written quote we were given? And then, no refund of $136.00.

I was very pleased with the initial process for an estimate. Joe was such a personable person and answered all our questions. He visited during the process and came at the end to check and make sure we were satisfied with the results.
The installation was done by just one man, Dilano "Dee" Reesor who, from the start, came with the confidence, know-how, and experience needed to get the job done. He showed up on time and went right to work. Any questions we had during the process he answered. The job was slated to take a day, he was in by 9 am and out by 4 pm, cleaned up and took all the old parts with him.

They did a good job. They cleaned up after themselves. They made a follow up call to make sure everything was working well.

When it gets time for your maintenance they call you and you don't have to worry about it. They see when it's convenient for them to come out and to maintenance on the unit depending on which season it is. I'm on an annual plan, if something goes wrong with the heater and they had to come out after hours you would get a discounted rate on their per hour rate to fix something.

They did excellent work. We had no problems whatsoever. They installed a Trane unit. He explained everything they were going to do and all about the products. I would highly recommend them.

Ireland was to diagnose a problem with our furnace which was vibrating. They said I needed a new blower motor and offered to fix it for $600. I replaced it myself for $138, but it didn't solve the problem. Another AC repair service will replace the blower wheel.

I think that they were very professional and spent a lot of time with us. We had a lot of questions because we had never purchased a new air conditioner before and so they were here 4 hours with me just going over the different kinds of air conditioners and explaining to me and going through the house and doing the assessment of what we actually needed and going to be the most efficient for our house. They are very thorough.

They showed up when they said they were going to show up. They called right before they came. He went right to work, explained everything, and did a good job. It cost exactly what they said it was going to cost.

We liked everything about them. They did a good job. We had questions and there were always there to answer. They were very professional. In fact we've used them for years to do the services on our air conditioner and heat pump. They've always done an excellent job.
