They did a great job.  Worked with my somewhat strange requests and were also willing to do some brainstorming with me around how to solve some logistical problems.  
Long story short, they did a great job and were extremely accommodating.  My bride to be is thrilled with the ring.

I made an appt. with this jeweler for 11/13/2014.  From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with smiles !  I had a coupon from Angies List magazine for a free estimate.  I have a wedding ring that was purchased in St. Thomas, but I needed a local appraisal for my insurance company.  While waiting for my appraisal, they offered to steam  clean my two rings and watch.  They also pointed out that I had some loose stones in both rings and they offered to fix them, gratis!  My rings still shine; they have never been so clean!  I received a 3 page (very thorough) appraisal in the mail a few days later. While waiting, the owner and I talked about a few pieces I would like to have redesigned and he was, by far, the most knowledgeable person I have ever spoken with about jewelry, jewelry redesign, pearls, etc. He could not have been more kind.  After the holidays, I plan to go back with a few pieces to have appraised and redesigned.  Every employee there was as nice and as personable as could be; you would have thought I was a regular customer!  I would recommend them to anyone who needs an appraisal or who is looking for diamonds, fine and costume jewelry, as their selection is beautiful, reasonably priced and a good variety of everything. They sell estate pieces, as well.  I'll see them again soon.  It was an absolute pleasure at Prospect Jewelers and I can't thank them enough for their kindness and my wonderful appraisal.

Completed the work on time and the rings looked great.

I was pleased that I didn't have to leave the watch and return to pick it up later as I have done at other jewelry stores .I will  use them again for repairs and to purchase other jewelry pieces.

I made a  custom diamond ring for my wife's birthday.
Brad at the prospect jewelers is very professional guy.  He was very patient during the whole design phase.
After we finalized the mount design, the final product was built very fast and delivered on time.

We are repeat customers and have never been dissatisfied. Every aspect of our interactions with Rob Prince and his staff have been superb. In addition, their offerings are very enticing and are high quality.
We especially like the personal attention we received which was far and away the best we have received from any other Louisville jewelry store. Not an outlet or chain.

The center stone on my bridal set had fallen out and the head that held it had been replaced 5 times before over the preceeding 15 yrs.  When the last head had been replaced, by another jeweler, I asked the repair person about possibly changing the style of head to help avoid this constant replacing.  He said, yes, but it would involve cutting the ring open, constructing a new head, etc, and would cost quite a bit.  That was why, when the stone fell out and we finally found it, I put it in a box for 2.5 yrs to save up money to pay for the redesign.  That jeweler's repair person, however, had since left and when I took it to him, he said there was nothing I could do and steered me toward putting the center stone in a whole new ring.  I had seen this provider on Angie's LIst and was planning on getting a second opinion from them, but stopped at another retail jeweler first.  The manager there sent me straight to Prospect Jewelers.  I was starting to get worried that I wasn't going to be able to save the ring and save more money for a new one when Brad met with me and looked at the situation.  He said it was completely doable, noted the other items that needed to be repaired on the ring and gave me a ballpark estimate.  He called me the next day with the formal estimate and informed me that he had located a pre-made head that he could customize, instead of creating a new one from a custom mold.  It would primarily save time, which it did.  All of the repair work was completed within 2 weeks (at that was holding it to give me the chance to approve or disapprove of the work) and was within the estimate.  When I picked up the ring, Mr. Prince was there and spent quite a bit of time with me on a busy Saturday, developing a quote for a possible addition of some stones to the wedding bands as a possible anniversary gift.  Everyone there was professional and helpful and made the process go smoothly.  I will happily return to Prospect Jewelers.

He is wonderful. He seems to be reasonable. I am getting ready to take some rings in to be appraised and cleaned. They also deal in fine jewelry and watches which we have purchased from them as well. They are very reputable and aiming to please because they are small and local. They have a beautiful new shop. I think he is a high quality jeweler and his prices are probably average for that quality of jewelry. They are involved in the community a little over a year ago. There was like a Christmas celebration in the shopping center and they had an open house and giveaways and prices. The participants had to pay for choral groups and coordinate games and monitoring the refreshments and things like that and bringing in a Santa. I just thought that was very nice. They are community oriented.

I have been using them off and on for the last ten years. They are very friendly and professional. They always call to make sure the price is good with you.
