What ended up happening was we drove about 10 miles to Rockport, IN to load a car onto the trailer. We never messed with the trailer hook-up, but as we were loading the car the trailer hitch came off of the ball and rammed the back of our truck. Luckily we bought the U-Haul insurance for $60. But that did not matter because Tom LIED AND DENIED THAT HE HAD HOOKED UP THE TRAILER WRONG!!!!!!! U-Haul denied our insurance claim because they said we should have read the users guide before loading the trailer. They also said that Tom couldn't have lied about it because he is certified on hooking up U-Haul trailers. After this I took the issue to the Better Business Bureau and that was a waste of time. We were going to sue Cartraxx Auto Sales, but since we lived in Louisiana it was not possible to use a LA attorney. I even sent Tom an email through his website asking him in good faith to tell the truth about the incident so we could get our truck fixed, but I never got a response. We ended up eating the $3,000 of truck damage incurred and will never go to Cartraxx auto sales again!!
