The Division of Code Enforcement lists ten different contractors to choose from and you have two months to have your sidewalk replaced or fixed or pay further penalty. At first it was a nightmare because most on the list never answered their phones or if you left a message would return a call. Two others that did answer the phone wanted to charge almost double what ZKB quoted, wanting me to pay $600.00 for the service rather than $370.00. Another contractor that wasn't on the list actually priced the job at $1200
.00. Another told me it would be over $600.00 for the job and would get back to me but never did. ZKB was the only company that offered their service at a reasonable price, would answer the phone and do the job in a timely manner. If the city of Lexington cites you for code violation for your sidewalk, don't waste your time on the others. ZKB will do the job!Licensing
