Scott and his team were very accommodating to our needs.   He was prompt and on time for the measurement.  He provided a detailed drawing and quote for 3 options within 2 business days.  Once we decided on an option and placed a down payment the material arrived in 2 weeks.  The vanity installers were incredible.  They were on time, quick, efficient and worked with us to resolve the problems our untrue walls presented.  The granite installers (Quality Stone) were equally as efficient and professional.  Scott has done two projects (Kitchen and Master Bath) for us and based on level of service and price I won't use anyone else if we modify our laundry room or kids bath in the future.

We were extremely happy with the whole installation process.
Pre-installation - Scott took the time to come out to draw the new kitchen on the floor and walls after we gutted the old kitchen to allow me to install the lights and switches in the best locations.
Installation - Scott's crew were skilled craftsmen. They were extremely efficient and courteous during the cabinet installation. The countertop/sink install went just as well.
Post Install - We had a cabinet face and roller that required replacing. They were identified by his crew during the install and were quickly rectified.
We couldn't be happier with the final product.

He visited our home, brought information on his products, services and spent a good amount of time talking to us about how we wanted to use the space, the table, the work surface, etc. He looked at the style of our home and asked a lot of questions to understand what we needed and wanted. We went through several designs and pricing options through email and we then met in his office to finalize everything. We were able to see samples so we felt confident in our choices. The table is exactly what we were looking for. The quality is exceptional in materials and craftsmanship. Scott's service level and skill in understanding our needs were very high and ultimately he delivered outstanding results. He is such a pleasure to work with. He brings a high level of commitment to his work and to his business. We will hire him again in a heartbeat. He is a full service design shop with the ability to meet his customers on cost and quality with amazing results. A rare find.

We have been looking for good kitchen cabinets and cabinet suppliers in and around Lexington for nearly 2 yrs. We found most of them to be either rude or just did not want to do what we wanted. We went to them with a scale drawing and design we were looking for and did this drawing from standard size cabinets. We gave each of them the layout and also of list of what we difinitely did not want. No one even came close leaving them the layout. All gave lump sum pricing and would not itemize. All lost interest when we went back for changes. Like everyone else we had a budget to do this whole project and the kitchen could not consume it all. We disgusted with dealing with them and put off the project we were wanting to start right away. Turns out that it was to our benefit. We restarted looking and found SL Designs in Nicholasville, Ky. We called Scott Lewis, owner, and he came out the next day. We told him the difficulties we were having getting what we wanted. We walked Scott through the area and told him what we wanted and where and showed him our layout.
Two days later Scott came back with drawings with elevation views and isometric views so we could picture the entire flow. He was dead on what we wanted the first time. I was expecting to be shocked at a high price instead he was around other estimates we had but did not work. We wanted all cabinet bases to have drawers and this was something everyone else did not do and still their price was in the same ball park or higher.
We were skeptical of the quality of the cabinets and asked if we could meet Scott in his office to see one with a drawer. We did and found that the quality was better than anything we had looked at.
Scott was very accommodating and we went with him. He met the delivery date and did a great job on installation. There was a problem with a microwave shelf and Scott took care of it and got us a new shelf. We used all white painted cabinets and they were beautiful. The drawers were on heavy duty full extension slides and tongue and grooved, We had a lot of cabinets and counters and a beautiful buffet and when all was finished we were extremely happy with it and we have had many neighbors stop by and they all loved it. Some have requested Scott's phone number and address.
The whole experience was great and I would strongly recommend SL Designs to anyone in and around Lexington.
