The nightmare is not over. It took months to have the first garage door delivered and the panel with the glass was damaged. The replacement also came in damaged, so we are waiting on another replacement. We hired Precision because they also had a siding contractor that did their trim work. Because of COVID, he was not able to work the same day. Months later, he reports that Precision has him so busy he has not been able to do anything with our job. The main reason we hired them—one company to deal with—has turned into us having to serve as general contractor for their sub-contractor.

Initially replaced door 4/13/19. Requested a service call several weeks later as were experiencing a lot of noise from the unit. We were very fortunate Blake Angel was our technician on the second call. He went above and beyond to make things right to his high standard. He was great to work with and made sure we were happy with the result. He is a man of integrity and trust worthy. He knows his product and truly cares about customer satisfaction. This review is primarily about our experience with Blake and are happy with our new motor and wall unit.

I was frustrated with my house garage door as it couldn't close fully. After many attempts to resolve that issue, without no solution I went to angelist.com. The website recommended me to PRECISION DOOR SERVICE, They sent A repairman, who did an tremendous work quickly than I expected . I recommend this company to be your emergency, oh by the way is a 24/7. If you ever have any problem with your garage door I humbly suggest you this one.

Without warning my 2 car garage door came to a screeching halt half way down. I called Precision expecting to be told it would be a day or two. Much to my surprise I was told a tech would be out before the end of the day, between 4 and 6 PM. Again, to my surprise, I got a call about 3:15 and was told he'd be there in 30 minutes. He quickly diagnosed the problem and got to work. A half hour later he was done. I was blown away. I will be happy to call them next time a problem arises.

My garage door spring broke. William had everything needed to save the day and allow me to get my cars out of the garage. Ultimately upgraded to a wonderful Wi-Fi and battery back up new door opener. Williams work was flawless he clearly knew what he was doing and was able to reprogram everything for me providing a turn key product

Contracted with Precision Door Service of Lexington based on Angie’s List reviews and the reviews on Precision’s website. I assumed based on these reviews that they would do a quality job at a competitive price. Prior to arranging for Precision to do the work I obtained quotes from 3 local competitors to replace my garage door springs with quality long life replacement springs. All 3 companies are reputable and have been in business for many years. The 3 all inclusive quotes were: Competitor R - $210, Competitor O - $220, Competitor A - $205. I have had prior positive experiences with 2 of the 3 and should have just went with one of them. But based on reviews I read I decided to arrange for Precision Door Service to replace the springs, even though they wouldn’t give me a firm quote over the phone. Once Precision arrived they quoted $310 or 50% higher than their competitors. I declined their service, paid their $70 service fee to provide a grossly overpriced quotation and contracted with Competitor A who did the job as they quoted for $205. Competitor A also provided a very adequate warranty. My assumption is that reviews are, or should be, based on price and quality of work. Maybe reviews can be manipulated and thus I don’t plan on relying on them going forward. Buyer beware.

Working with Precision Garage Door was great! Steve came out twice to give us quotes - once when we thought we would get one large garage door and again when we decided to keep the garage with two single car garage doors. Both times he came out quickly and was very professional. I compared the cost of their garage doors with those from the big box home improvement stores. Honestly, the price was about the same and with the big box stores, the doors were a lower quality and we would have had to install them ourselves. Precision Door sent two guys out with our new doors and they spent the day putting them in. They were also courteous and professional and did a great job. Best yet - the doors work perfectly! The only disappointment was that they didn't bring out the decorative hardware for the doors, half the remotes we were supposed to have, or the key pad. I reminded them them we were supposed to receive these things, they called Steve, and Steve said he would bring all that out the next day. Which he did. I wish I didn't have to ask for these things, but at least when I did, there was no disagreement and Steve took care of it first thing the next morning. It is so nice to work with a company that actually does what they say they are going to do and sells you the product you expected to receive. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

After a small bit of confusion, Steve came by the house in a VERY TIMELY MANNER and made EVERYTHING right. This company's customer service is outstanding. They stand by what they do. Very rare in this world to receive great customer service. I WILL recommend them highly to anyone who needs some garage door love!

Let me start off by saying that we dealt with multiple garage door companies in Lexington looking for a particular style and color to match our front door. This was a very frustrating process throughout. Finally after calling Percision door and the owner came to our home and offered us the perfect match and excellent pricing. Their office staff and employees that came to do the job were very professional and punctual. We highly recommend them to anyone needing service or a door replacement.
