Called the ER number because we had no heat, someone answered said they would go to the office and call me back in 20 minutes. That was at 630 am on 1/19/22. At 8 am the office manager called me told me the service man was going to Versailles first to a call that was made yesterday. I told her that we had an Emergency call this morning at 630am. He arrived at our home at 1005 am. We have been customers for 13 years. I called back asked to speak to the owner. I was told the owner was on the phone and to wait a minute. He came on the phone and I explained the situation we did not get good customer service and the comment I received was “what do you want me to do fire everyone”? I told the owner I would call the BBB and tell all the other people in the condo area about what occurred.

They replaced all of our air conditioners probably a year or so ago.  We're very pleased with them.  I don't remember how much it was.  There was an issue with getting to one; it was really hard for them to get to and they stuck with it and we really appreciated it.  I would say that I thought there was a fair price. They were very responsive. They were efficient. They got it right and they worked with us.

Initial installation was done over 2 consequtive days. Getting systems working properly required several more days. After installation neither system was cooling properly. Several installation errors and faulty components had to be corrected. Downstairs system installation errors included compressor wiring errors, bad thermostat and coil installation errors requiring a number of service visits to correct. As I discovered problems, contractor was prompt to return and address them. The downstairs system is now cooling effectively. Upstairs system after a second coil installation and sealing air leaks around air handler is still marginally cooling and not dehumidifying. Installer is saying I have attic air entering through duct leaks. I paid extra for a duct leak test, but source of leaks could not be found. Installer says guaranteed remedy is to replace all the ductwork about doubling the cost of my upstairs investment. I am unconvinced that it is not new system installation problem. This is the most complicated system that I have been involved with, so maybe some problems are unavoidable, I don't know. A five year service warranty came with my installations and I havn't had systems long enough to evaluate warranty service. I will update this review after I have had a chance to experience reliability and warranty service. I will say that the owner, Butch, is knowledgable and responsive to questions and concerns and I will continue to use him for future service as long as he is competive on price.

I had a 2 new furnaces installed by comfortmaster.  one upstairs and one downstairs.  when the city inspector came to inspect the last one he said there was no inspection sticker on it, and no filter cover.  The inspector wrote this up in his report.  Comfortmaster called me and said they sent me the inspection sticker in the mail.  I never saw it.  Did you ever have to put your own inspection sticker on your furnace?  The technician made the piece to cover the filter in 5 minutes and charged 84 dollars for a piece that was supposed to come with the new furnace. 105 dollars for a replacement sticker that I never was sent.  I won't do business with people like this.  If I were you I would be very concerned if you deal with these people.

Butch and his crew showed up on time, and he answered all of my questions without hesitation. I would recommend them to anyone. For a job that had the potential to be tricky (converting the air handler from the older, oil-lubed refrigerant to the newer stuff), they did a great job. I did a lot of research into what the conversion would entail, and I was told to choose my contractor carefully - many told me to just buy a new, matched air handler, by my current one was only 6 years old. It was convertible, so I had Comfort Master do the install of the heat pump and the conversion on the indoor unit. I wanted to wait awhile to write this review - many of the reviews for contractors here are in fact reviews for the service and appearance of the work. If something goes bad soon afterward, the original reviewer often doesn't come back and post a follow-up. So, this is being written 4 months after the install. I wanted to see how the unit worked in hot and cold weather - and I'm happy to say that, so far, it has worked great.

Comfort had been out 2 years prior and I thought they were honest and forthright in their opinions and advice at the time. This time a different Comfort service rep. (young) came out because our AC wasn't blowing cool air. He tested the freon and said he was OK but he would put another pound in it anyway. (If its OK why did it need another pound besides being $54?). He sprayed off the coils with my hose and said that should do the trick. I thought $232.78 was quite excessive but apparently he called the office from his van to see what I paid previously. His first statement was "Well, it's just a little more than last time." Well, last time a fuse was bad, what does that have to do with the current call and bill? I just felt uncomfortable with the whole situation. Using a hose and water to spray off the coils should cost $175... PLEASE! Two months later (now July) AC is out again. I'm calling someone else!!

I called a few places requesting a hybrid system. They seemed to be very knowledgeable and their price was the best. They had the highest certification. Excellent service provider.
