The workers are highly skilled, and had the trees removed with precision. They had very tight quarters to work within to avoid damage to my neighbor's fence. The owner was professional in all of our conversations, the crew was pleasant to deal with, and they cleaned the yard of all debris. I am very pleased with the work, and would highly recommend them.

Ian Hoffman's crew arrived at our house just after lunch and worked until about 7p. They cut down four trees (one small, two medium, one large). The big one was near two overhead power lines and one of the medium trees was also near a power line. The crew worked safely and steadily, removed everything (excepting a small amount of firewood they cut and stacked neatly for us) and did a bang up job on clean up. Extremely professional crew, first class equipment and no surprises on price. This is their second job with us and they have our highest recommendations, A+, five star service !!

Big Beaver's crew removed three large (dead) trees from within a copse of live trees. Complications included four-board fencing, that could have easily been damaged. The work was performed on schedule. The actual price was less then the quote. No collateral damage was done. And, the job site was cleaned up perfectly - nary a twig nor a leaf were left behind. Excellent work!

Great! They did a wonderful job. This was the second time we used their service and have been pleased with each experience.

We lost a very tall, mature tree to a wind storm. The tree was uprooted and leaning precariously against a neighboring tree. Mr. Hoffman responded promptly to our call and assessed the situation. While he was on the property, we asked his opinion on two other trees that appeared to be dead. All three trees were growing within a foot of a neighboring four-board fence. He spent quite a bit of time evaluating the logistics of removing the trees, explained his strategy and provided a quote. The Big Beaver crew showed up on time, performed the work safely, cut the stumps flush as we requested, and cleaned up nearly every fallen leaf and stick. Amazingly, the fence remained in tact. We were happy with the work, and delighted to see that the invoice was substantially less than the amount quoted.

The company did an excellent job. The owner arrived on time and immediately started the joy. The job lasted for two days. The clean-up was excellent. The owner of this company is an honest man, and did not try to take advantage of an elder women. I think other businesses should take lessons from Mr. Hoffman. By the way, the price was unbeatable! I recommend this company for any tree removal job in the Winchester, KY area.

We were referred to Big Beaver Tree Service through our landscaper who coordinated the tree removal with Ian directly. We were told it would take up to 14 days to get on the schedule, and we were scheduled within that timeframe.

Big Beaver showed up at the time and date scheduled with a large enough crew to efficiently get the job done (initially 3 or 4 men, with an additional 2 added later in the day). They had very serious looking equipment (stump grinder, tree chipper, bucket to reach tops of trees, etc) and they protected our turf from gouging with heavy gauge rubber treads. I was impressed that they maneuvered the trucks so expertly around the bend in our driveway which just happens to be right at the fence gate ~ a challenge they handled without ever bumping the fence. We had two minor tire trench marks, and divets where the bucket truck braces touched the ground, but that was much less than expected given how extensively the equipment was on the turf.

All stumps were ground 6-8 inches down and the largest pieces of stump debris were removed along with the trees themselves. The ground was left level were the stumps had been. The crew did an excellent job cleaning up the debris and even came back the next morning in the rain for a final clean up since they worked dawn to dusk the prior day and couldn't see too well at the time they left.

Our initial price quote was slightly less than what we paid, but we added one tree for removal on the date of service, and the final price we paid was the initial quote plus the price for the additional tree removed, so the price came in exactly as we expected with no surprises.

They did an excellent job - they didn't damage my roof or home when removing the tree. They were professional to deal with, and there were no hidden fees.

This contrator was recommended to us and we were thrilled. He came earlier than expected for an estimate, and arrived shortly thereafter to start work. There were weather problems that delayed his work, but it was completed timely and certainly to our satisfaction. We were so impressed with how subtle the trimming was - the trees did not look like they had a "buzz cut." They were natural and beautiful. They were very neat and did not leave stray limbs or leaves on the property. Excellent work.

They removed the main stump, but did not kill it. There are still some trees growing. They charge for travel.
