Excellent.  It took a little longer than we had hoped, but this was 100% due to the severe winter we had this year.  They were on site and working every day weather permitted.  The carpentry was exceptional.  Both framing and trim.  Its rare to have subsequent contractors (painters) complement the work of competitors.  This was a very complex project.  We wanted the addition to blend into the architecture of the existing house and not appear to be a box added on.  Matt was very helpful in providing ideas on how to do this.  Its nearly impossible to tell where the old house ends and the new addition begins.  We were on a really tight budget but wanted the work done right as we plan on living here the rest of our lives.  They were very helpful in recommending improvements to enhance long term durability and minimize maintenance.  This was a huge project and there were inevitable scope changes.  For example we decided to upgrade the electrical service to the house (from the 1960's 150 amp service to 2014 200amp, relocated a couple of doors, added a storage closet, etc).  The costs were extremely low (less than 5% of the overall budget) for these and I'm sure they were done at or near his cost.  This was a surprise as most contractors will "gouge you out" on scope changes.  The only significant problem was that the concrete for the patio "spalled".  This was due to it being poured in the extremely cold weather we had this year.  It was replaced (not repaired or patched) at no cost to us and without argument.  Matt also has a very extensive list of excellent subcontractors.  Mostly local guys who do excellent work at really low prices.  Exactly what we needed.  I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and would probably "sole source" future work without bidding for even moderately sized projects.  I never sole source work.  I'm a retired engineer and can verify the soundness of the construction as well.  It bothered me to give them a "1" in every category as there's always a weakness.  But I can't think of anything significant so they get all "1"s.
