Hauling
THEY COULD NOT DELIVER PROPANE BECAUSE OF SNOW & ICE ON PROPERTY. WE CALLED TO ASK WHY THEY HADN'T DELIVERED THE PROPANE. THEY SAID BECAUSE OF THE SNOW AND ICE. WE BOUGHT 500 GAL. UNDERGROUND TANK FROM THEM IN 2002. THE GAUGE ON THE TANK HAD CONDENSATION INSIDE THAT WAS FROZEN AND YOU COULDN'T READ HOW MUCH PROPANE WAS INSIDE THE TANK. THEY SENT SOMEONE OUT TO LOOK. HE TAPPED THE GAUGE WITH A HAMMER AND DETERMINED IT WAS ABOUT 40% FULL. HE HAD TROUBLE COMPLETING THE INVOICE. MY WIFE ASSISTED HIM IN COMPLETING THE FORM. HE WROTE "N/C" ON THE INVOICE. A WEEK LATER, WE GOT A BILL FOR $45 AND A THREAT TO ASSESS A FINANCE CHARGE OF 2% PER MONTH. THEY OVERBILLED US IN JUNE 2003 BY $30.48, SO THEY HAD USE OF MY MONEY FOR 8 MONTHS, BUT I DIDN'T ASSESS THEM A FINANCE CHARGE FOR USING MY MONEY FOR 8 MONTHS. WE COMPLAINED ABOUT THE CHARGE AND THEY SAID, 'TOUGH...'!
