It was during a sale. They could use better customer service. I generally have trouble finding anybody to help me there.

They were able to get someone out the very next day, and they got me a great deal. They also installed an overflow pump, which my old unit didn't have. They got everything done very quickly, and they did a fabulous job. They even hauled off the old unit for no additional charge. They were wonderful!

Lowes subcontracted the work out, and the subcontractor did a great job with everything. I love my new beautiful bathroom.

My experience with them was great.  The person I worked with was really good.  They recommended an installer.  The product was as promised.  It was very nice and the pattern was the way it was supposed to be.  The fit on the countertop was excellent.  The installers did a good job.  They took out the old one and put in the new one.  Their responsiveness was excellent.

It was great. Their kitchen adviser was very helpful in designing the kitchen. They were on schedule. They came when they said they would come and they did a really neat job of installing. I liked them. The price included the appliances. They were efficient. It was a fair price. I would use them again.

While the price was a little more than we wanted to spend, it's probably worth it in the long run.  The company is very reliable and stands behind their work.  They also offered financing with no interest for one year.

I told the story previously.  It was remarkably simple.  Every time a contractor called to set up and appointment to measure or install, Lowes installation department would call us as well to make sure the appointment was set and there were no glitches.  This was a very professional operation.

They counters are beautiful, and were exactly what we expected.  Lowes did an efficient job confirming the dates and times of installation.  Everyone did what they were suppose to do. The sales person was very involved as well.  As a matter of fact, the sales person actually brought out a matching part for the sink.  It was fabulous!  I plan to replace the counter tops in the baths because I had such a terrific experience.

The cabinets came in as ordered.  Some doors were not consistenly stained properly, and a couple of drawers had defects in the solid wood.  We re ordered the doors and drawers and they came in with a mahogony stain vs our cherry stain. The second order of doors and drawers came in, but had the exact same staining issue as the original set... We decided to live with the difference.  It is now middle of November and our installer from Lowes, Bob Tiegarden, is still not finished with our "punch out " list that he asked us to put together.  The list is bascially, re positioning of a door so the bottom doors are equal, not hanging lower than the other. A few other adjustments to the automatic closing doors and the bottom trim that was not installed above our refrigerator.  Bascially, we are talking no more than 2 or 3 hours of work.   The installer called our house last week and said he would be here the next day in the am.  My wife waited up for him as she works 3rd shift.  He did not come nor has he called back.  I have called Lowes early this morning, and no return call at this point.

The granite counter tops came in exactly one month to date of selection.  So, be prepared to go one month without a kictchen sink if you order from the Lowes supplier.

Bottom line, we did save money by going with Lowes.  We do like our cabinets and counter tops. If I had to do over again, I would have used an in town installer that I am familiar with and most likely would use another suppllier other than Lowes. By the ways, the contact in charge of installations at Lowes said our account on the installation has shown completed "for a long time."

The ordering and installation process went very smoothly. An installation professional came to measure the cabinets that composed the bar on site. Then, a few weeks later, an installation crew came to install the Formica countertop in pieces. The installation was very professional, and was completed in just a few hours, as the pieces were custom cut off-site based on the precise measurements from the first trip a few weeks earlier. While the service from Lowe's was good, the Formica product's performance has been less than stellar. Although I was warned that Formica surfaces can scratch, I presumed this would be every few years under normal kitchen use - cutting boards, knives, dailly meal preparation, etc. I have scratches on my countertop after nearly every gathering of people at my bar. The weapons at our disposal are beer bottles and plastic utensils. Any contact with the surface results in scratches, swirls, and the overall impression left is "cheap", which isn't what I was expecting for a $1600 bar surface. I have written a letter of complaint to both Lowe's and Formica. I think the name "Black Galaxy Quartz" is misleading, as it implies a tough, natural stone product. The actual product has all the resiliency of a low-grade plastic. I used granite throughout the rest of my home, and the granite is virtually maintenance free and has been in place much longer. I'm thinking of replacing my Formica countertops, after only having them in place for a little more than a year. I would use Lowe's in the future, but not for countertops.

THE ORIGINAL SUBCONTRACTOR LAID THE TILE AROUND DEC. 13, 2004. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, KEPT A CLEAN WORK SITE, AND THE TILE LOOKED GOOD, EXCEPT THAT THERE WERE EXTREME VARIATIONS IN THE COLOR OF THE GROUT. HE WAS PUZZLED AND SAID IT HAD TO BE A DEFECT IN THE GROUT. WE CALLED LOWES TO REPORT THE PROBLEM. A FEW MESSAGES WERE EXCHANGED, AND THEN WE HEARD NOTHING FOR ABOUT A MONTH. AFTER ANOTHER CALL FROM US, LOWES REP SAID SHE HAD BEEN WAITING TO SEE IF THE GROUT COLOR WOULD ''SETTLE DOWN.'' SHE WAS VERY RESPONSIVE WHEN WE SAID THAT WASN'T HAPPENING. IN THE END, LOWES PEOPLE EXAMINED THE GROUT AND THEN PAID TO HAVE IT COMPLETELY RESTAINED BY A DIFFERENT SUBCONTRACTOR, EVEN THROWING IN A RESTAINING OF THE POWDER ROOM FOR ''CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.'' (IT DIDN'T HAVE A VARIATION PROBLEM, BUT WE WEREN'T PLEASED WITH THE GROUT COLOR WE HAD CHOSEN.) ALTHOUGH THE GROUT PROBLEM WAS ANNOYING, LOWES REALLY CAME THROUGH IN THE END, AND IT LOOKS GREAT NOW.

LOWES SUBCONTRACTED THIS JOB (AND THE OTHER JOBS THEY HAVE DONE IN OUR HOME) TO THE MARK VISE COMPANY. MARK VISE AND HIS STAFF DO OUTSTANDING QUALITY WORK. LOWES HAS HIGHLY KNOWLEDGEABLE PEOPLE SUCH AS MARK VISE DOING INSTALLATIONS, AND THEY ARE DEPENDABLE AND FRIENDLY AS WELL. I HAVE BEEN USING LOWES A LOT FOR THIS KIND OF WORK AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO.
