It was great.  When you call him he calls you back.  They are prompt and fair in their pricing.  They are very reliable and knowledgeable.

He was fast and efficient. He was very careful. He was able to bring down the original estimate after looking at our water heater and seeing we needed a smaller one.

Mr. Espenschied talked us out of a bigger, more expensive model, saying we really didn't need it.  He was right.  We are very happy with the work that was done.  He and his helper were prompt, professional, clean, efficient and polite.  The final cost was below the estimated cost.

Fred, the owner, had come on out to give estimate on downstairs bathroom which needs drain and plumbing relocation, and also my immediate needs. Washing machine was backing up into utility tub, turnoff to outdoor spigot was bad, and the spigot, needed done before freezing weather set in. The vanity top I had cut down from a 37" to 35.25in.to fit in space, had to be installed. Mike came two days later and took care of all the issues. He did an excellent job. Everthing was clean when he left. He took away old vanity top and sink, which I couldn't lift. I definitely would use them again.

It went well in every way.I can only offer positive feedback about Mike our plumber and Fred the owner of the company.Their call back,scheduling and arrival were all done in a timely manner.Replacing the main shutoff valve required approx.90 minutes and installing the new deck faucet about one hour.However,Mike wasn't happy with the new faucet(frostproof sillcock)because it didn't seem to seat properly and wanted to continue dripping.He decided it could possibly be a defect from the manufacturer so he spent an additional hour installing a completely new one.We didn't pay when the job was done because Fred the owner prefers to figure your bill accurately and send an invoice for payment.The bill arrived within one week and the extra hour of labor charges for replacing the defective faucet was subtracted from the overall cost.I've rarely been charged so fairly and Fred Espenscheid Plumbing will get all of my business in the future.

Our old shut-off valve sprang a leak on the Fourth  of July. Northern KY Water District turned off the water, then we called Espenscheid Plumbing who called back within 20 minutes of our leaving a message. They said their plumber, Andy, would arrive between 8:00 and 8:30 the next morning. He arrived  as scheduled, replaced the main shut-off valve and a section of copper pipe, and he turned the water supply back on, all within 30 minutes. His charges seemed very reasonable for the valve, pipe, his time and truck/equipment charges. Plus, he was a nice guy with a sense of humor.

They were prompt in taking my phone call.  They called me back.  The owner, Fred, came to look at the problem.  He said he could fix the issue.  He recommended a good toilet, and I have been happy with it.  They came to put it in.  They replaced the water heater earlier.  It was a similar situation.

I live in an old house, so the job was not as easy as a normal installation, but Fred and his assistant did an excellent job.  They were punctual and very professional.   They also cleaned up perfectly after the job was completed.  I have already hired them to do other plumbing jobs that need to be done, as I have complete confidence in their ability and honesty.

Very smoothly. The plumber arrived on time, was very pleasant, was very prepared, and the price seemed reasonable to me.

Mr.Espenscheid arrived on the job within a half hour after I called. Shut off the water at the main and inspected the job and called his assistant who arrived with the new valve and installed it within the hour.

I originally contacted the company to get an estimate on moving some items in basement that would be required by a waterproofing company. Mr. Espenscheid was able to come over the same afternoon. I ended up not using his services for that, but I had a toilet with a malfunctioning Fluidmaster, so I hired the company to replace that. I think they were able to come the next day or maybe the day after to do that. The day after the repair was Saturday and the toilet started making a high-pitched squeal until I turned the water off. I called and left a message and heard back Sunday evening. The workman came back the next morning to fix the problem--apparently he had missed a small piece of the Fluidmaster that got stuck somewhere in the system--and it has been fine ever since. Also, I had wanted to upgrade the faucet in that same bathroom, and Mr. Espenscheid gave me the name of the place where he gets fixtures so I could go pick one out. The company ordered it the next day, it came in on a Thursday, and the workman came out that afternoon and installed it. Because I had two jobs relatively close together, Mr. Espenscheid charged me only once for the truck charge. He also gave me some helpful feedback on waterproofing the basement.

He has done work for us for 10+ years. I would highly recommend him. $30.00 a service call for this report.
