CUT OUT AN EXTRA 'STEP' WHEN I ASKED THEM TO DO SO. NOT DOING SO WOULD HAVE LEFT US VERY UNHAPPY. STAGGERED THE BOARDS APPROPRIATELY FOR NEARLY THE WHOLE DECK, BUT NOT AT THE LAST FEW FEET. IT WAS EASIER FOR THEM NOT TO STAGGER, AND IT TOOK LESS LUMBER, BUT IT DOES NOT LOOK AS GOOD AND IT DOESN'T MATCH THE MAIN PART OF THE DECK.
