Poor customer service . I have never been treated so poorly in my life for reasons that I am still trying to figure out . They said they would not repair our car port ( even though we knew it was out of warranty and was willing to pay ) . The receptionist treated me so rudely that I couldn’t believe I was actually dealing with a business . I tried to tell the receptionist that I only wanted help in trying to get it fixed. I tried to ask if they knew anyone who could help and she would only cut me off and say no we don’t . She acted aggravated that I had already called them back in June but she didn’t reply then. I would never buy from them again and pray to never have to deal with them again . TERRIBLE

I placed an order for blueprints for a building in 08/30/2019. After getting the runaround for nearly 8 months I called another supplier. I was provided with blueprints in 5 days. I contacted Handiports/Wilson manufacturing and they deny giving me a refund saying the engineering charged them for the blueprints and they have had them since 3/27/2020. The communication at this company is a joke as I’ve called numerous times and have been very lenient and patient and I never get a return call. I’ve always had to call back. Steer as far away from this company as possible. I wish I had read reviews first, it looks like I walked right into a trap and am just lucky these clowns never made it to the building phase as I’m sure that would have been another nightmare.

I ordered a 22ft wide X 26 ft long carport in October  16 2013 and it was delivered and installed October 30 2013. Wilson Manufacturing did not show up the day that they were scheduled to install it and missed another installation appointment  before finally arriving on the third date. 
On 2-16-2015 a snow storm produced approx 10 to 11 inches of snow and on 2-18-2015 the carport collapsed onto my ford 4x4 pickup and GMC Yukon Denali damaging both. The trusses on the carport collapsed as well as the wall supports. Three other carports collapsed in my county that was manufactured by Wilson Manufacturing Inc. but those manufactured by their competitor Carolina Carports did not collapse. The problem is a combination of not enough truss supports and the thin gauge (14ga round ) posts. The carport was not engineered to withstand snow or a mixture of snow and wind. If you live in an area where it snows buy your carport from another manufacturer.
