I typically share good experiences, but this was not. We were presented the wrong information and even the wrong type of loan AT SIGNING. In fact, it was two loans instead of one, which had not been discussed at all. We were treated like imbiciles, even though my wife and I have 5 degrees between the two of us. Agent was late to signing, and did not even bother to show up for an appointment at her office downtown. I had to submit my paperwork to someone I'd never even met. Both of the real estate agents involved were shocked, and made note to advise against using the officer in the future. The emails I received were completely unprofessional, with brief, unclear messages in the subject line and no information in the message. I never got to see or even speak on the phone with our agent until the signing date, because she was never available. It sounds like a joke, but everyone at the closing very seriously and honestly thought that the agent may have been drunk. It was a very stressful and important time in our lives, and our treatment was awful. The rate was terrible, as we later found out when we refinanced. It was an unbelievably bad experiance, and I even went out of my way to take some time (over a year in this case) to calm down before righting the review. We later refinanced with LNFCU, and it was so wonderful that it was like night and day, so I know our experience was not an exaggerated one.
