Danny Offutt of Lakeside Electrical, came to our house and agreed to perform various electrical jobs for $300.00.  He agreed to disconnect a light, install a new garbage disposal, install two ceiling lights, install two pendant lights, etc.  The first time he came, he disconnected a light, said he didn't have time to do more, but would return and finish.  He arrived unannounced, worked on the garbage disposal for an hour and said he was out of time and would return later.  When we turned the switch for the disposal, there was no noise, so he said it must have to have something in it to run.  At his direction, I put an over ripe tomatoe in it and there was still no noise.  He said he had to go, that I should have my husband check it out.  My husband looked at his work and found that Danny had hooked our dishwasher to a switch and left a rotten tomatoe in our nonfunctional garbage disposal.  I texted him a picture of the directions from the garbage disposal.  We made an appointment, but he didn't show up and wouldn't answer phone or text for three days.  He finally answered saying he had been sick and hadn't had access to his phone.  I contacted him again and made an appointment.  I confirmed that he would work on that day because we had to cancel a meeting to be home.  Two hours before his appointment, he contaced me saying he had a meeting that he'd forgotten,  and only had enough time to fix the garbage disposal.  I told him, if he couldn't finish the work today, to plan on coming to pick up his check. We couldn't wait another month to get the work done.  He said we didn't owe him since we had such a bad time getting togeather.
