JT Contracting did an excellent job removing our bathtub and installing a beautiful walk in shower. Professional, courteous, on time, did great work and left after a thorough clean-up.

John and his team were very professional, neat, and easy to work with. We ended up being out of the kitchen for about two weeks, which I thought was pretty good given the job. We modified the kitchen island, painted cabinets, installed new countertops, and replaced backsplash. John was punctual and did not have any down time where the kitchen just sat unfinished. We've had projects before where the contractor would start another job and send guys over to ours when they had the time...extending construction time significantly. Thankfully, this was not the case with John. They cleaned up after each day which was also a huge plus. I would definitely recommend JT Contracting!

John and his entire team were very professional during the while process and we will have them come back for more work. They showed up when they said they were and immediately got to work. I had Barkley, Jeremy, Jay, Larry, and John all working at my house and they kept it clean and tidy as well. The scope of work was completed in roughly 4 weeks and looks amazing. We love our new kitchen.

We chose this company for our old house bathroom remodel a couple years ago because they provided a reasonable estimate and were able to start work at the right time for us. The workers were very nice and respectful and while he was barely onsite, the owner was reasonably easy to contact and responsive to concerns. However, it later became apparent that a number of important elements of the job were not done especially well. The bathroom subfloor was not laid properly, resulting in squeaks around the tub area. We have since realized that the grout lines around our subway tile walls are much larger than normal and thus difficult to keep clean (we had deferred to the workers about appropriate spacing). 2.5 years out and the tub caulk is peeling off and needs replacement. A small crack emerged in the ceiling drywall a couple of months after the job. During the job itself, the workers dropped a tool on the tub, damaging it and requiring a replacement. We had to demand some poor floor tile laying and carpentry work be fixed before final payment. We probably could have avoided some of these issues had we micromanaged more closely, but we were new to renovations and extremely busy with work and a baby. All in all, I think this is a decent company (none are perfect), but I would suggest closely monitoring the project to ensure everything is being done correctly.

Project went well; workers were on time every day, and explained any questions. Every day when leaving, the workers cleaned up the area, having also spread a mat over the work area entry way. I was very pleased with the result. The owner was always responsive to questions or any concerns we had. I believe the price was fair for the work done, and I would use and recommend this contractor to anyone and any appropriate project.

John sent a crew to install flashing around the entire roof, approximately 200 linear feet, and the work was completed in less than a day.

John was able to get the project started quickly and it was completed in a timely manner. The crew were professional and took care in completing the necessary work. They removed the existing vanity, toilet, fixtures, tile, and wall paper and demoed one wall to extend the new shower into an adjoining storage space. I provided the shower unit, vanity, tile, and fixtures and we reused the toilet. I also chose to do the painting myself. My wife and I are very pleased with the result.

I was very impressed wth John and his entire team. They were punctual, very responsive, and the quality of their work was excellent. Very good attention to detail with suggestions along the way to improve upon my ideas.

We were extremely pleased with the service received. There was one mistake made, when the crew, in removing some carpet we wanted to save, removed it in strips as for disposal. But John took full responsibility, and gave us a credit for replacement carpet. It was a very fair and honest resolution. Overall, the quality and reliability of the crew was excellent.

John did a wonderful job - his attention to detail and pride in his work were much appreciated. He was flexible with our schedule and worked collaboratively with us on the design. John was always professional and kept us well informed. We intend to call John in the future for additional remodeling jobs and would recommend John to anyone without hesitation.

After meeting with three top-rated contractors, I selected John Trinkle. My decision was based on John's reputation, his respect for historic structures, and his written and verbal communication skills. I definitely made the right choice. John's team arrived on time every single morning, and each one of these fine men worked hard and were flexible with the quirks that are guaranteed to arise in 100+ year old homes. Individually and collectively, the craftsmen were excellent problem solvers, attentive to details, and always cheerful. The project took three weeks, and never once did I regret having the team in my home. John checked in on the job often and was always pleasant, caring, timely, and true to his word. The end result is a stunningly gorgeous bathroom and a very happy homeowner.

JT Contracting remodeled the tub and shower portion of our bathroom to our extreme satisfaction. The two-man team who was dispatched to our home was engaging, tidy throughout their work, courteous, wisely strategic in plan and execution, explained well how they were working through each unexpected hurdle, which were numerous in our 1946 house, and strongly finished ensuring every detail was completed as perfectly as humanly possible. Additionally, the owner, John Trinkle, proved to be a patient and flexible man as we encountered two major scheduling setbacks due first to our tub and shower retailer and secondly to our tub and shower manufacturer. Both times he rescheduled the team lined up for work in our home quickly and efficiently while also rescheduling them for continuing work in our home in the same manner. Serving their customers well is obviously a priority for JT Contracting.

John Trinkle of JT Contracting gave us a clear, simple, and competitive quote; then he set up the bathroom renovation start date. Jordan and Nick came on the set date and did most of the demolition on day 1. Over the next week, they installed the tub, added drywall and plaster (the soffit above bath was removed), laid the floor and wall tiles, installed the vanity and countertop (we ordered these materials but they picked it up), toilet, lighting, taps, and cleaned up when done. They are friendly, work carefully, communicate appropriately, and did a very good job overall. We have asked them to work on renovating our Master Bath next.

It went great.  They showed up early the first day.  Jordan was very friendly and was able to handle my vicious dogs when I was away at work.  ;o)  They were very neat in terms of installing clear walk guards as not to ruin the carpet.  Jordan would text me pictures of the progress or if he had questions.  I had him redo the built-in shelf after he completed it because I didn't like the frame he put around it.  I got no complaint and it was done when I got home.  The project took about 5 days.  John Trinkle was always accessible by phone and very friendly. 
I like the fact that he allowed me to do the work I was comfortable with and leave the rest to him and his team. 
I cannot say enough nice things about John and his team.  We shopped 2 or 3 other contractors and they were either cheaper or inline with the others.  We would highly recommend J.T. Contractors for your next job.

Some of our tile work was detailed and they did an exceptional job with all the details! Were very flexible and understanding with a few minor changes we wanted. Adhered to the vision of what we wanted!

JT Contracting are experts and quickly identified the problem and prepared a plan to fix it.  The work began on the date scheduled and completed on schedule as well.  The team also found during the repair that the toilet seal had broken and was also in need of repair - they completed that as well after I gave them the green light.  Great experience overall and they are the company that I will call when I'm ready for a bathroom remodel.

Everything went very well.  John Trinkle and his workers were very professional and worked with us on several modifications/additions we wanted that were not on the original proposal.  They were cooperative and accommodating to all our wishes.

John Trinkle and his crew were professional and responsive.  They did good, quality work, and proactively communicated concerns and asked questions.  They came up with creative solutions for some basement oddities that look great.  We felt comfortable leaving them while we were at work.  The work took a few days longer than expected, however, they did ensure everything was done to our satisfaction.  John required 50% of the payment on the first day and 50% after the job was completed.  I would highly recommend JT Contracting! 

John Trinkle is a pleasure to work with.  He is extremely professional and honest in how he does business.  He pays attention to details and takes pride in the work he and his crews provide.  For whatever work that he or his crew do not do on a regular basis, he brings in people he knows who specialize in that type of work.  John is well aware of current trends and what products work best with the project and with what we were trying to accomplish.  I highly recommend John Trinkle and JT Contracting.
