Big Sandy Superstore - Maysville Kentucky

They could only deliver to my home on Thursdays and I am not available on Thursdays. To overcome this I rented a U-Haul and went to pick up the bed room set. On arriving home and unpacking the various boxes I discovered that they had failed to provide the head board. I called and had to return the next day and pick up the head board. I unpacked the headboard and in the process of putting it together I realized that five heli-coils and was not able to assemble it. I called the store and they had to order another head board. I went and picked it up two days later and returned home to assemble the bed. When I attempted to assemble the bed I realized that the food board has two long screws that were supposed to connect to the side boards that were badly misaligned and had to be replaced. I called the store and they had to order another foot board. I returned to the store yet again and had to pick up the foot board and return home to finish the assembly. I am still short 4 bolts that are required to complete the bed. What should have been a single trip turned into multiple trips that involved waiting for new components and returning defective components. When discussing the problem with the store manner he assumed a flat affect and appeared to not want to deal with the issue. Eventually there was a reduction of 250 dollars on the almost 3000 dollar price tag connected with this item but only after I told him to come pick up the item and I was done. I even said to him at this point I would get my lawyer involved at which point he got up and walked out only to call me back after I walked away with the compromise of the 250 dollar reduction in price which supposedly will not show up for two billing cycles. I will never deal with this store again.
