I purchased my first 2009 Dodge Journey from this dealership in 2008, in September 2009, the vehicle was totally (due to car accident) so I purchased a 2010 at a dealership in St. Louis, MO. Because I always had great service at Driver Motors I continued to have my new Dodge Journey serviced there even though it required me driving 30 miles each way. The service manager there at the time was Kelley, however in 2012 she moved to another state. My previous visits to Driver Motor (under a new service manager) were not as pleasant as before but I continued having my car serviced there. My last service call before this bad experience, I was told I needed front and rear brake pads ($300 est cost) however at the time I could not afford to have the work done so instead Ireturned about two months later prepared to pay for front and rear brake pads. When I arrived I stated I needed front and rear brake pads and needed valve sensors".
He also recommended other extras (rear wiper blade, air control stuff) I declined the extras but was concerned that on this visit I only needed "rear brake pads". I paid all but $55 and left. A few days had passed when I noticed while driving on the highway that once my speed exceeded 45, that my car began to shake. When I returned to town I called Driver Motor and they had me bring my car back. After a few minutes the same service manager came to me and stated I needed front rotors??????? even though my front brake pads were good????? I explained to him that "all" work done to my car especially the last "front brake pad replacements were done at Driver Motors. This service technician when asked to explain how my rotors were now bad since the last visit when they inspected then and also how can the pads be fine but the rotors bad? I also asked if the tires they worked on were balanced before putting back on my car he said no they didnt need to be balanced and that wouldnt cause my car to shake. Very frustrated and felt taken advantage of I told the service manager that he was going to lose a customer of over 5 years but he didn't seem to care so I left. I just went to another service/repair location (Shelby's Tire) and they found that the 2 tires that had new sensor valves put on them did need balancing once this was done, I drove on the highway and wow no more shaking.

I was very very disappointed that Driver Motor deceived me and also let a long time customer simply walk out of their establishment obviously feeling misled, offered no thorough explanation, and mostly "did not listen" to the customer. I will never return there under the same service manager nor will I recommend them to anyone.
