The owner and manager are unprofessional. The company as a while is none responsive. Don't expect anything to be done on time.

They showed up and gave estimate. I hired them. 6 months later same problem. Said they would not back any warranty since it was only a partial roof. Unresponsive to phone calls.

Great work got in and got it done fast. Very nice people that work well to get you what you want and at a great price. If I ever need anything done I will be calling them back for new jobs

The contractor doing the work was a sub-contractor hired by Nick's. He worked with my husband to make sure the windows were removed and re-installed correctly and that all the minor repairs were done satisfactorily. All materials were supplied by we the home owner including what the contractor stated he would supply but did not. The contractor, I would use again but we did have a few issues. Not much on clean-up or where to discard an empty beverage bottle. And cigarette butts everywhere. Also I have been using a magnet to get the nails out of the grass and have already had them in my tires.

The contractor Nick's was another story. We provided materials he was suppose to supply (did not reduce quote) and when the job was done wanted an additional $500.00 for work he said was additional but was clearly written in the quote. Didn't pay it. Understood from contractor this is a normal practice for Nick's.

As stated, I will use the contractor again, I will not use Nick's.

Overall it was fantastic. The crew was wonderful and very professional. We had the roof and also had to have the decking redone. Lots of layer to remove. Done the roof ( tear down, decking, and shingles) in one day. Also after they were done they used a big magnet and ran through the yard and driveway to retrieve all stay nails. I would recommend them to everyone.

Awful! This adventure began in March 2009 and still isn't done as of September 2009. There have been a constant string of sub-contractors not showing up when they said they would and crapy work. The contact person has only been her once to check up on things and that was because of the sub-contractors telling him the job was done when in fact it was far from it. The contact person reassured us that the problems would be fixed and done promtly when they were not and then tried to charge us more money because of the sub-contractors having to make extra trips to fix the mistakes when in fact it should have been done at no extra charge. The sub-contractors were unprofessional in several ways including but not limited to bad mouthing their boss, leaving a mess behind and making a terrible amount of unnecessary noise. On a few instaces the sub-contractors have made more than a few trips to fix an obvious mistake they have made. I don't feel as if i am unreasonable at any of the request i have made for these mistakes to be fixed when i could have done a better job myself. The toilet seat was put on wrong. The caulking was not smooth and even and looked like a 5th grader did it. You can see nail holes through the paint. Other electrical problems occured after they moved outlets. Grab bars were put in the wrong place. The mirror that is specially made for a person in a wheel chair was put up so high that you can't see your selft in the mirror from the wheel chair. Light switches were placed out of reach. The mirror and light fixture was completely off center from the sink by a few inches. Instead of replacing the drywall they cut out a hole that will never look like it should. I feel as if i have paid top dollar and got chump change work. The price we were given did not include purchasing some of items needed for this job. Thank goodness we didn't have to rely on this as our only bathroom.
