The contractor doing the work was a sub-contractor hired by Nick's. He worked with my husband to make sure the windows were removed and re-installed correctly and that all the minor repairs were done satisfactorily. All materials were supplied by we the home owner including what the contractor stated he would supply but did not. The contractor, I would use again but we did have a few issues. Not much on clean-up or where to discard an empty beverage bottle. And cigarette butts everywhere. Also I have been using a magnet to get the nails out of the grass and have already had them in my tires.
The contractor Nick's was another story. We provided materials he was suppose to supply (did not reduce quote) and when the job was done wanted an additional $500.00 for work he said was additional but was clearly written in the quote. Didn't pay it. Understood from contractor this is a normal practice for Nick's.
As stated, I will use the contractor again, I will not use Nick's.
