My wife and I notice very often that people do not do their job correctly.  It seems harder and harder to find people that will do their work properly.  We notice details, and we seek out excellence.  4 years after first learning about Bill Brundage Jewelers, we still relish, admire, and appreciate the fantastic job they did with my wife's engagement ring.

The ring is a custom-designed, custom-made, and deeply significant ring for us, and Bill Brundage Jewelers made it happen.  Here's the story:

After meeting my wife in 2010, I designed an engagement ring with a yellow marquise diamond in the center and two pear-shaped sapphires.  I took the stones to the first jeweler.  With my specific drawings and measurements, the first jeweler assured me they could produce the ring on the setting I wanted.  The first jeweler was not even close -- they set the stones in the wrong setting.  The height was wrong, the prongs were wrong, and the entire effect was wrong.  To make matters worse, the manager at the first jeweler made it clear they would not correct the setting, even though they admitted they did not use my detailed drawings and measurements.

So I took my stones, now set in the wrong setting, to a second jeweler, who ridiculed the first jeweler for being so incompetent.  The first jeweler assured me he could follow my instructions and accomplish the task of setting the stones correctly.  After weeks and weeks of excuses the first jeweler had not accomplished anything. literally.  He did not work on my ring at all.  I took the set stones away from the second jeweler to show a third jeweler who declined to work with me, because they said they could do no better than the setting from the first jeweler.

Finally, I met with Bill Brundage, told him the story of the ineffectual jewelers, showed him my drawings and measurements, and turned my stones over to him.  Bill Brundage Jewelers removed the stones from the undesirable setting, placed the stones exactly in the correct setting I wanted, returned the old platinum setting to me, and completed the brand-new ring within days.  I was astounded that they were so efficient; they did in days what the other jewelers could not do at all. 

The ring is still perfect today.  My wife and I love it.  It is a heirloom that I hope our family can cherish for many generations.  Even 4 years later I feel compelled to express my admiration and appreciation to Bill Brundage Jewelers for their kindness, professionalism, expertise, understanding, and willingness to achieve a shared goal of producing an enduring and meaningful engagement ring.
