Description of Work: I used Zimmer & Kohl Contracting. I did a complete bathroom remodel, and a partial kitchen remodel, which meant refinishing the cabinets and replacing the countertops and sink.

Description of Work: Contracted to tear out and re-pour a concrete driveway and front walk

Description of Work: Called to get quote. Pour new 8x8 stamped concrete pad near gate opening transitioning to 50feet of 3foot wide walkway in backyard to another concrete pad by back gate. Include drainage work/dry well required to remove sump pump water discharge and additional drainage work at back gate to remove gutter runoff.

Description of Work: The project was to install a new 2.5 car garage, demo and install a new wider driveway, add a 170 sq ft addtion and move the front porch foward. Vendor was selected because he gave a 6-week timeline, He was not the low cost alternative. Garage door was supposed to be offset and the ceiling was to have attic type stairs and room for slight storage. This never occurred. The roof is 9 inches off center from front to back and 6 inches off center from left to right. The block walls are not square, the blocks have uneven gaps between them and the brick veneer is tlited at the top. The garage floor is uneven and water leaks into the opening via the pedestrian door threshold. The driveway was installed by a sub contractor (was never told this) and was installed on top of the dirt instead of using the Bobcat to level the ground. The forms were removed samed day . The vendor was to install a specific brand of windows that we agreed to but substitited inferior products with prior knowledge or approval. The drywall inside the addtion is flawed and uneven. The windows leak air and after closer inspection had shims installed around the latches to make them operate better.

Description of Work: I hired them to install hardwood flooring through the living area and down the hall to the bed rooms. Seemed like they started out good and went down hill from there. First the workers were incredibly slow. Then every time I turned around they wanted to submit a change order. First for an increase in cost for the paper barrier. Then the one hard to believe was when the hardwood was installed down the center of the hall I was told it was extra work to fill the area down the sides. I told him I found it hard to believe anyone would not want the outside 1.5 inches filled. I was told some people wanted their floors like that. (not hardly) I ended up signing off on 3 different change orders just to get them finished and out. The quality of work was far short of even fair. I suspect the flooring was not nailed down properly. It squeaked from tthe time they finished and still does.

Description of Work: Demolished old porch screen enclosure and built an enclosed sun room with new base wall for triple pame windows (supplied by owner), drywalled and painted new walls, installed tile floor, installed heating/cooling unit, including necessary electrical changes.
