We have a contact with them where they do, like, a certain number of treatments per year for a set price. We just kind of re-contract every year. I was here the last day they came and normally I am not and it seems like he finished it awfully fast. I am not sure if he treated the whole yard, but I can't say that for positive sure because I did not watch him the whole time. I wondered how he could do the whole yard in the five minutes that he was here. They are pretty responsive. Normally they just do the treatments when no one is home. They don't have a set time, they come at their own time. I guess their professionalism was fine.

We initially and still do want a bid on the backyard. We never got that bid . They have provided fertilizing etc of yard. Yard looks just okay they said it may take some time so we will see if the season of service makes a difference. It seems they are more comfortable with this than handling the back yard. So we figured that its best not to push for bid.

These guys are truly great to work with. Kyle was very understanding and always answered my questions/concerns promptly. My only wish is that I could afford to have them trim my hedges so that everything looks immaculate. They do a great job cutting the lawn and clean up afterwards. I would definitely hire them again.

I chose WLS over two other landscapers because Kyle was extremely knowledgeable and promptly responded to any questions I had. Of the other two, one didn't show up for our appointment and the other would not or could not give an acceptable written description of work to be done for the price he was quoting. WLS gave me a detailed written description to what was to be done, showed up on time, and completed the work as promised. I'll definitely be using them again.

After years of dealing with sub-par lawn services, WLS was a breath of fresh air. Most important to me was that the lawn was mowed on a regular schedule. I never had to wonder my lawn was going to be mowed; WLS always showed up! This spring (2014) my lawn looked amazing and all the credit goes to WLS. The fertilizing and seeding of the lawn last fall resulted in the most lush green yard on my street. I have no doubt that the lawn was a major factor in the curb appeal of my home when it went up for sale in May. I wish I could bring WLS with me to Michigan!

"Member, Sorry we did not meet your expectations in any way it seems. I'm concerned with your quality rating of "D". It appeared you were home when the work was completed and you did not come out or call to say anything about the quality of the work. Our pictures that we took after completing the work seemed to present the curb appeal you said you wanted. I informed you on our site evaluation that the boxwood shrubs would not look great due to the volume of growth you wanted trimmed off of them. With concern to the price of our services your grade was an "F". I am a little confused. You were given the price to complete the work before it was ever completed. You agreed to the price and the work was completed. With concern to Punctuality and responsiveness you gave us a "C". I am also a bit confused with that grade. You requested the work be completed by June 23. The work was completed on June 19th. You initially called our office on June 3, an appointment was set for June 9, and the work completed on June 19th. Still a little confused about responsiveness. That is not too much time based on that time of the year from the call into the office and the date the job was completed. I feel the issue was really over the time required to complete the job. We had four men on that job. Sorry again that you felt you were not professionally taken care of for the services we provided. It is our goal to treat each and every client professionally and ethically."

Had trouble from the start with the crew that came to the house. They couldn't figure out how to use the gate to our back yard and now it is going to have to be replaced. The overall service was fair. Some weeks it was fine and others were not. The cost was high and you have to sign a contract for a year. Not a good experience.

First, I think it is important to let everyone know that we do NOT require anyone to “sign a contract for a year”. While we do use a service agreement, clients do have a 30 day cancellation option if the need to stop service arises. This is clearly stated in the agreement that we have. As far as the price issue, we never bill anything above the agreed to rate. While some company’s offer a “lower” price, many also add additional surcharges and fees at the end of the month. We do not believe this is fair or ethical to consumers so we tell you the price from the start. As far as the gate is concerned, I can recall that area being an issue from the start. We had discussed some options early on to fix that area from the mud and ruts that were present before we started. To my knowledge that was never changed and this is what caused the gate issues. Being in business for 35 years our goal is to provide superior service to every client we work with. We're sorry to hear this member did not feel like we achieved that."

Good job cleaning up and not disturbing the surrounding flower beds. Price is fair based on area competition, and I continue to use Wayne's because of their responsiveness and quality of work.

As professional as Kyle and the office were, the crew that did the actual work wasn't. Our lawn had been marked for gas/phone/water lines with flags, and the crew just ran them over. That work had to be redone before we could have our sewer line work completed. Whoever edged the lawn broke every basement window well cover we had (6 of them) because they were careless.I did tell Kyle about it, and he listened and said he would talk to the crew supervisor, but he should have offered to replace the window well covers. My guess is the cost for that would have been $20-$30.

He's doing a good job so far. They took care of a lot of growth on the bushes and also took care of throwing the debris away. So far they've come out 2 times and he is coming out again next week. The price listed is for their first visit and there were 3 men doing the job.

Though this company was expensive, they promise that the higher quality mulch will last longer than cheaper mulch used by competitors. They have done the first lawn care fertilization treatment, so only time will tell as to how well that goes. They did a good job overall.

I'VE ALWAYS BEEN PLEASED. THE PRICES SEEM REASONABLE. IN PART OF THE YARD, WE HAVE PATCHES THAT WE'RE WORKING ON, LIKE DEAD GRASS. OVERALL THOUGH, I AM SATISFIED.

IT HAS BEEN GREAT. THEY ARE VERY, VERY GOOD. THEY ARE HONEST AND ALWAYS PUNCTUAL. THEY ARE GOOD PEOPLE AND I LOVE WHAT THEY DID WITH THE TREES AND SHRUBS. THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND INFORMATIVE. THEY EXPLAINED HOW TO BEST TAKE CARE OF THE YARD.
