They came to the home as arranged, conducted walk-thru. I paid the day I met wit them. I was to have my appraisal within a week. I contacted them after 10 days and was told it would be a few days. It has been over two weeks and no appraisal. I'd like to think I will be getting the appraisal as I paid for.

Appraisal was not delivered when promised He would not call me until I contacted Home advisers and then the written appraisal had some incorrect info and Doug said he would correct and resend a new copy but never received it I never tried to contact him anymore just got tired of trying to get info that I had paid for Joyce Sanford

"Customer requested the appraisal to be mailed instead of emailed. I answered all communications promptly, but for some reason the client opted to go thru the HomeAdvisor portal instead of contacting me directly. This caused a delay in receiving a message to call her. When reviewing her report, we came across an item that was mislabeled (which did not affect the valuation of the property). I corrected the typo and placed that page of the report in the mail, which she should have received by now. I instructed her to call or text me directly if she did not receive, and I would personally deliver a copy to her home."

Mr.Watson was a pleasure to work with. He worked with us to meet our appraisal needs with very short notice. I called several companies trying to get an appraisal done within the next few days and he was not only the first to say he could, but worked with us around an unsure timeline and did not charge a higher price for the quick turnaround. Mr.Watson is an upstanding business man and I cannot recommend his services enough. We will be using him for future real estate needs for sure.

He did all he could do. The house next door with a higher appraisal was never listed in MILS. Had to dig deeper and get that information to Mr Watson.

"I explained to the client that the home next door was not listed on the MLS and had too few details in public records to verify and use as a comparable sale. Therefore, the appraisal was thorough and well researched based on the data available. The client indicated she would attempt to retrieve a copy of the appraisal on the home next door from the owner, but must not have been successful. I am still willing to review any new information provided and revise (if warranted) the final value opinion."

We hired this appraiser for a sale price on our FSBO house so we could price it correctly. Appraiser was professional & seemed well informed but after quoting a week turn around on the report, it was actually 15 days to get an email report & a month to get the print copy and that was with several text requests from me. It is a very busy selling time right now, but I was disappointed to have to wait so long for a price. Also the written report has no room measurements like previous appraisals we've had in the past, only total sq ft.

"I delivered the appraisal the week following the initial inspection of the property. When the customers notified me they did not receive the report I emailed it to them again, of which receipt was confirmed. When the customer contacted me about also receiving a physical copy, I printed and mailed a copy to them. Also, I determine square footage by taking exterior measurements, but would have been happy to provide interior measurements upon request."
