Vittitow Cabinets

We have been in the process since early December to add a 30 inch pantry to match our existing pantry along with adding a cabinet above the built in double oven and refrigerator cabinet with leg. Apparently the quality has changed since 2001. The pull out drawer in the new pantry look like a Rev-A-Shelf kit instead of the built in look of the existing cabinet. The shelves were 1 inch x 1 inch smaller creating even more dead space in the new cabinet than the existing cabinet. The pull out shelves were removed as requested and the cabinet was to be fitted with traditional shelves. We pointed out that the end of the cabinet was not like the other cabinets. The installer stated that we were given the wrong cabinet. Instead of bringing the correct cabinet, we were told that he would make it right. He did not. When he fitted the cabinet for traditional shelves, he stated he would notch the shelves to fit the interior of the cabinet. He did not. Instead he added an additional backing to the interior of the cabinet and used unsealed, unfinished, plywood for the shelving. The took 1-2 inches of the depth from the interior of the cabinet instead of bringing us the right cabinet. The cabinet over the oven took 3 attempts to get it right. The installer attempted to install a cabinet too small for the opening. I have no idea how he planned to close the gap between the cabinets. The refrigerator cabinet looks too short in height for the area above the refrigerator and the leg had minor damage ignored will installed. We were passed around from person to person throughout this process. Each time we were passed along some of the details for our requested cabinets were not passed along. We attempted to have the company crown all of the cabinets, but they were able to provide the same quote twice. (the person measuring finally admitted they made a mistake, but did not correct the mistake to what she verbally quoted in my home.) It was a very long process for a very small job and the job was not completed correctly.

The company does great work.  They were very helpful picking styles and giving suggestions how to best complete the project to fit our unique needs.  They were prompt and professional and make a quality product. They, however, are not a bargain.  I am fine with that fact.  You get what you pay for.

The work was beautiful, and service was excellent, but I got a couple of "we can't do thats" when I asked for door refinishes that became "yes, we cans" when they spoke with the decorator who was a long-time contact.  Hmm...

Fine.  I like my cabinets

It was about $20,000 and it included countertops. We were extremely pleased with what we have. We had good experience with them. We're quite happy.

The owner plained and sanded and helped with the design of our lumber to cover a kitchen island that did not fix with our new kitchen. Now the island is an and quot;eyecatcherand quot;.

Met with gentleman in the office. He then came out and measured and made a template. I then approved the quote and several weeks later they came and installed the unit. They did scratch the tall cabinet as they put it in place so they insisted on taking it back to the factory to repair this. They said it wouldn't look right if repaired in place. I was just sick but the next day I got a call it was ready. They came out and put it in place and I cannot find the area that had been damaged - whatever they did is undetectable! Absolutely love the vanity and cabinet.

They were real good. Sam Denison is the one I worked with. I went to their store a couple of times. He worked with me on picking out the ones that I wanted and gave me a price. When they first put them in, there was one place where my refrigerator was showing which I was not happy with, so he corrected it. They were wonderful. I had no problems. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

THEY WERE EXCELLENT. THE COUNTERTOPS WERE CUSTOM MADE AND THEY FINISHED THE ORDER BEFORE IT WAS PROMISED. THEY KNEW EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED. ALL I HAD TO DO WAS GO IN THERE AND TELL THEM. THEY CUSTOMIZED THE COUNTERTOPS SO THERE WERE JUST HOW I WANTED THEM.

THEY WERE GREAT. ALL OF THEIR CABINETS ARE HANDMADE AND EXCELLENT QUALITY. THEY MET ALL MY NEEDS AND ACTUALLY MY CABINETS WERE FINISHED BEFORE I EXPECTED THEM, BEFORE THE PROMISE DATE. THAT IS HOW EXCELLENT THEY WERE.
