Yuniel Gonzalez arrived around 8 am on Monday to install our Universal windows. We were surprised Universal only sent one worker for nine windows. Although a bit of a language barrier with Yuniel's Cuban accent, Yuniel was very pleasant and friendly, and worked in a very professional manner. My Spanish sucks. He installed 6 windows in about 4 hours. We did not expect that. Replacing the bow window was more complicated. Although it took him two days to complete the work, he did an excellent job. We are pleased with the result. There is no detected air leakage that I can observe, I used a candle to test them. He totally enjoyed the spicy Gumbo we fed him for lunch, on Monday. Yuniel is a good worker and a very nice young man. Time will tell as to how these windows hold up. Good job, Yuniel. You will be welcomed back anytime. Yuniel even cleaned up everything outside. That was a nice surprise we are not used to with contract workers. Thank you for that as well.

The process is simple. They stop by for measurements and three or so weeks later, they are installing the  windows. The installers are experienced and are in and out usually within a day.  The windows are double hung, double pane with tilt in capability for easy cleaning.

They wrap the trim on the outside around the window which makes them look great. 

They clean up any mess and take all the old windows. 

 

I have, and will continue to strongly recommend this company, whether the windows are for your home, rental, or a house you maybe flipping.  

The sales team and installation crew were all very professional and punctual.  The windows look absolutely perfect inside and out.  They also did a great job of keeping the house and yard clean of any debris during and after the installation process.  I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for replacement windows.

They did a wonderful and very professional job. They removed 21 old windows over 50 years old and was going to remove them and i told the young man i wanted to keep them to donate and he was so kind and stacked them for me out of the way with care. Mind you now, It was the day in louisville that it was raining and then started to snow. They also came across a squirrel inside of my walls and got the poor fellow out without harming him and then the guys kept on working and not one complaint. They then replaced all my new windows and wrapped all of them also. These guys are very good at what they do and fast results. I also have a couple of rental homes and i liked them so much, I have used them for those jobs also. They get it done right the first time and are always very professional.

Great, fast and good craftsmanship

All of this is for the company with the same address/phone number going by the name of A.S.A.P. Home Exteriors. The sales guy said it would be done within 2 weeks. I contacted Rob after 2 weeks about this issue. A serviceman came out after the 2 weeks to help me pick out siding. They said the following weekend they would be out to do the work. I waited all weekend, and no response. Because of "the rain", the company was behind and I was put on the back burner. I was pushed to next week and the following week and so on. I went into the office because it was close by. The guys were all in the office - not working. Seems like there is no communication between the owner, the workers, the sales people. I just want my money back after all of this and no one is responding to me.

Work was carried out efficiently by a team of hard working roofers who did a remarkably good clean up of the area after the work was completed.  At first I was disappointed that the finished roof appeared to be black rather than the green color which I had chosen. Since that time however, the shingles have had time to settle and flatten and now that their raised black edges can no longer be seen, the roof color is now truly green, even when viewed from up close. My only regret is that apparently I failed to make it clear that in the event of the discovery of any rotted roofing boards, I wanted them to be completely replaced and not simply patched, and that wood, not being covered by insurance, I was aware and willing for this to be done at my additional expense. In conclusion, I have to say that my aging roof was already on my "bucket list" and that without the help of Brad and his associate in inspecting my roof and in dealing directly with my insurance company, I would have had to bear the full cost of a new roof. These guys saved me several thousand dollars, for which as a retired "senior citizen" I am most grateful!

We have used them twice now. Both times the sales personnel were very helpful and knowledgable. The service the first time was mediocre. The second time was horrible. The windows were over a month late. They finally called and set up a time to install. Two hours after they were supposed to be here, we called the office. They didn't know what was going on. Six hours later, we got a call from the installation manager saying they weren't coming. They rescheduled and the day they were supposed to show, it happened again. They tried to reschedule for a day it was 100% chance of severe storms. They set up a different day and showed an hour late. In the process of installing the wrong windows the ruined our shrubs. The office argued with my husband about whether the windows were correct or not. The installer agreed they were wrong. 1.5 months later they finally showed 1+ hrs late and finally installed the correct windows. The service that day was less than mediocre. No apologies and 3 days of work lost. Will never return or refer them

They started on time, worked long hours to finish as promised and added some extra work without adding cost.

We were very pleased with their work.  An issue arose with a leak where the covered porch met the house.  They returned to our home several times until the issue was fixed completely.  They worked until we were satisfied.

Again, we did our research and surveyed all companies in the area.  Universal stood out to be the best and still do to this day.  All of my neighbors are getting in line!

I'm the kind of guy that is expecting a problem with contractors and with them, there were no problems. The quality of the work was great. The price was good and less than I expected to pay. They were on-time and very knowledgable. I am very happy with the work they performed and with the quality of the windows and door they provided.
