Follow up services were just too hard to deal with. I would stay away from the company. I suggest that the company should warranty their products. All I could get was there voicemail.

The team of two called in advance to confirm the time of arrival.  The installation was very smooth and professional. They cleaned up and took the old door and old windows away.  It's great to be able to look out of the windows now and see clearly. The previous windows were very foggy due to leaking double pane window seals.  The door is great too.  No longer sticks and has a great working dead bolt that is much more secure.

We had a representative from True Home Value come out, Richard Williams along with some other gentleman who he was training for sales.  These two men arrived at our home around 7:00 pm that evening and it was at least 10:30 before they finally left.  They did their usual "demonstration" of the windows during which the demo window fell on Mr. Williams foot and after that he was in a great deal of pain.  After him giving us a price on windows for the whole house we asked if he could just give us a price on two rooms only, the kitchen and living room.  The first "estimate" that he wrote up was for $18,168.00!  We said absolutely not, there is no way we are paying that kind of money for 8 windows!  After "sharpening his pencil" many times over he finally came down to $8593.00.  Honestly at that point we were so tired and wanted so bad to get rid of them that we decided that the windows did seem to be very nice, so we signed the contract.  We were assured by Mr. Williams that our windows would be in about 4-6 weeks. After hearing nothing at all from them I called to see what was going on about 8 weeks later.  That is when I discovered that it is very difficult to get in touch with a human being on the phone, so lots of messages were left and then you wait to receive a phone call back. To make a very long story short, I finally ended up demanding to speak with the owner of the company, George Jenkins who informed me on July 8, 2014 (13 weeks later) that the problem was they had been in the process of moving their production company from Utah to Louisville and therefore there was a bit of a delay.  Also, since we had to have the outside of our windows a different color there was also a problem with the paint booth!  I made my demands to Mr. Jenkins that if I did not have my windows installed by August 1, 2014 that I wanted a full refund and he promised that would happen.  Needless to say, our windows were delivered and installed on August 1 2014.  The windows look nice and the installers were professional, however at this point and time, 6/1/2015 we are having issues with the windows in the kitchen.  They will not stay raised when you put them up.  They slam back down making it impossible to open them.  Once again, we have called the company and they have sent out a representative who informed us they did not put a heavy enough weight in them to keep them open.  Of course he did not have any of these particular weights on his truck and they would have to be ordered.  So, here we are 4 week later still waiting for the proper weights to be installed to use our windows.  I tried calling the company last week.  I left three different messages on three different occasions and finally got a call back this morning from Sheila who tells me some lame story about needing to get the exact size of the windows in order to order the weights!  Really - really I say, you are calling me to ask what size windows you installed!!  So, once again, I gave her the exact size of the windows and once again, we wait to see how long this latest fiasco with this company will take.  My advise to anyone about this company is to tell them NO!  They are horrible to deal with.

Over a 2 year project, the vendor installed windows in the main living room area and in the basement area.
Vendor took old window material with them upon leaving the project.
We learned that vendors performing this type of work tried to ensure that husband and wife were available for the quote process.
This is a very unfortunate way to conduct business as it leads to a spouse having to take off work early without pay and stood firm that this is not how the process would go.
Don't let the vendor bully you into buying that which you can not afford.
Don't let the office people lead you to believe that every time the company offers a product that you must waste your time for a sales pitch.

The job went great. The workers arrived on time and the work was completed in one day. They removed all the stickers from the windows and left them clean and ready to use. Shortly after the windows were installed a seal broke on one of them. We called, gave them the number on the faulty window, they ordered a replacement and replaced the broken window as soon as the new one came in. They also replaced our doors, which we are extremely happy with, very high quality. I just wish we had used them to install our vinyl siding.

BUYER BEWARE. After spending all that money on triple pane, low e glass, gas filled windows, they fog up on the outside when it gets humid so you can't see out of them. The company claims that is normal and they have no intention of trying to resolve or look into why. So basically their 50 year warranty isn't any good unless someone breaks into your house. So I would not recommend using them for anything in the future unless you have so much money, you can throw it away on windows that fog up on the outside or any other home improvement project you may have.

Primax installed all new triple pane windows in my parents home approximately 1975. I have always been told by my parents that they were warranted for a lifetime. My dad died a few years ago and I inherited the running of the household affairs. Last year I called to find out the procedure for replacing a window that had turned cloudy between the panes. I was told there was no lifetime warranty on the products and I would have to pay in advance for the window replacement and pay for it to be installed. After complaining about the price of the replacement and install, I was told that that was still cheaper than I could get another company to replace it for. My parents had been told by the saleman there was a lifetime warranty on the products. They would never have spent approximately $6000 for 10 windows in 1975 without there being a lifetime warranty. That's just the way my dad did business. After checking the original paperwork, I found that there is NO warranty information listed on the paperwork at all. Needless to say, my mother is devastated. She can't believe they were lied to about the warranty info.
I would have let this go without anymore persistence on my part, but I recently received a solitication phone call from Primax, True Value asking if I was planning on doing any work that they could get me an estimate on. I told the saleman that I was planning on doing repairs and when I questioned the salesman, he told me that all products had a lifetime warranty. I immediately asked him about my problem and he didn't know what to say other than and quot;that is what we've been toldand quot;. Primax True Value also appeared on a local TV station a while back stating that their products are warranted. I tried to call into the show to ask about my situation, but couldn't get through.
I would never use Primax again. Thier products have traditionally always cost more than their competitors, but their warranty and service was supposed to be superior. I have found that not to be true and not worth the additional expense you pay for. Don't just listen to what the saleman is saying. Ask for the warranty information in writing. My window still needs to be replaced and I am debating having a different company do it, even though it won't match the others.

Premier Nu Bath can improve on their prices, I had to haggle with them, I had a price in my head and we had to negotiate down and I got what I wanted to pay so my advise would be to negotiate on the price.

They have great products, but their sales staff is lacking in good customer service. They pitch you one price and then a completely different price. The windows do cut the cost on your electric and heat, but they need to really improve in their sales department and on customer service.

I called them for an estimate but I was not happy. They told me on the phone and at a road show that there was no labor cost. When the gentleman showed up he said there was labor cost involved.

They arrived on a Thur and one window had been broken in transit. They did most of the windows the first day and the second day they finished the job. I paid them the money due them minus a small amount for the broken window which they had ordered as soon as they knew that the glass pack was broken. In about 6 weeks they returned with the new glass pack and replaced the broken glass and final payment was made. The front door had a problem of being level but when they returned to replace the glass they corrected that problem. Considering all that was done it was done well and professionally. No old windows or trash was left behind.

They would give you an estimate and they keep making constant phone calls. We bought our front door and we put it on their credit plan. Even though they knew that we were paying off our door, they would still call us constantly to see if we are ready to get another door or window. They won't wait for us to call them. The person who came and did the estimate was absolutely wonderful. He was really nice and answered all our questions. He was understanding about how we wanted to space things out to get repaired. But when he handed our information back over to the company they weren't understanding. My husband was there when they did the installation and I guess that it went fine. There were a couple of little things that I thought didn't go 100% as they should have. In one of their phone calls when they were calling to up sell us, I mentioned about those minor things. They haven't called us back since. The product itself was good. Their price was kind of high. They forgot some of their stuff and they had to come back a couple of times. I would possibly use them in the future but I would look elsewhere first.

Excellent workmanship, very professional work crew. (Update) When windows were purchased, they came with a utility savings warranty which stated that after 8 years, if you haven't saved the cost of the windows in utilities, True Home Value(Primax) would pay me the difference. Contract # 031W040549 ......I kept all utility usage for the 8 yrs. and sent to the company. This past February 2013 the CFO (David Anderson) called and said "True Home Value would settle with me and send $400 every 3mos. for a total of $1600." I agreed to this. I am very Happy to say they Absolutely fulfilled their obligations to the agreement......I would also like to say, I feel they are making Great efforts to remedy their Customer service Department. I am Very Happy with this Company and would use them again....They have great Quality products!
