Thomas Movers

Someone in his organization stole my engagement ring, a Jade ring another ring. I love about $17000.  The men were very unprofessional. They had about 6 different people in and out and it was very stressful. I had to report it to the police. After that we stopped communication with them.

Thomas Movers were very nice guys. They are a little loosey goosey in terms of keeping up with what goes off and what goes on. I lost some bolts to a bed that I am pretty sure where in the corner of their truck, but they said no they hadn't seen it; but that could be the only place. The other little issue I had was that I specifically asked for a certain number of guys (I think 4), because I wanted to work a room at a time and I wanted to keep track of what was going where and how it was being labeled and they showed up with 6. I didn't have a choice and by the time all was said and done it ended up costing a bunch of money. A lot more than I would have thought for that kinf of moving company. It may have been a one off, but to be honest with you I am not sure I would use them again for that reason. They are very good about calling back and so forth.

They are great. I have used them several times.

They were quick and careful. As I recall, none of my belongings were broken, and I would recommend them based on my experience.

They are outstanding.  They were very pleasant to work with.  They took great care in moving.  They took care of my furniture like it was their own. 

Thomas Movers showed up 15 minutes early with 6 guys to move my house. They worked efficiently and the truck was packed in two and a half hours. I felt great at this point. I opened up the back of the truck two hours into my drive and found that my stuff was all over the place. I had gotten several dozen furniture pads and dozens of them were just wadded up on the floor instead of being used to protect furniture. I ended up spending a day with my friend re-packing the entire truck before continuing on with my journey. A chair leg was broken and some of my other nice furniture was scratched up. After some discussions and haggling, the owner ended up agreeing not to cash my check.. I ended up losing money on the deal becase the damages to my property exceeded the $600 he returned.

The staff was really nice. I also was called by the owner which was reassuring.

Larry Thomas and his movers were at the pick-up point early and already at work when I arrived. They were careful in moving my antique dressers onto the truck and provided adequate cushion and bracing for them. When they arrived at my house, the movers were very professional and cautious about making sure they had adequate clearance for each tight turn and drop in ceiling height. They protected my railing and bannister with blankets as well. We had a mix-up with one of the dressers not being the right one and had to return back to the antique store. Larry didn't want to charge me for this, but I insisted. The additional amounts are not included in the my approximate spending, but the amount does include the initial tips for his two movers. I added to those tips to compensate them for the mix-up as well. I was very pleased with his level of professionalism and service and would definitely use Thomas movers again.

They are great! They came to me recommended by a number of friends who had used them in the past. With my first move, Mr Thomas came out and gave me an estimate of time and cost. It went just as he said it would. The second time, having been so impressed the first time, I didn't even ask them to estimate the move knowing that he was fair in price and treated ALL my stuff with care. My second move went just as well as the first. They are a family owned, hard working and pleasant group of guys. I would not hesitate to use them in the future and would recommend them highly to anyone.

THEY'RE VERY GOOD WITH WHAT THEY DO MOVE AND THE TIME FRAME. THEY'RE VERY RESPONSIVE TO ANY REQUEST. THEY COME IN A VERY PROMPT TIME FRAME, AND HAVE A REASONABLE PRICE. I'VE RECOMMENDED THEM TO MANY PEOPLE BEFORE, AND I DON'T THINK THEY'VE HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE.
