The Plant Kingdom is a locally owned and operated retail garden center and consulting service in Louisville, Kentucky. Our mission is to provide our customers with the highest quality plants available and share our knowledge and experience as Horticulturists and consultants. We echo the message “right plant, right place” in order to help you make informed decisions when purchasing new plants and caring for existing ones. We recognize that green spaces, whether large or small, indoors or outside, are integral living components of our shared urban ecology. We are committed to total plant health care through thoughtful placement, minimal maintenance, and environmental responsibility. From the tiniest cactus to the tallest Oak tree, from the toughest native plants to the rare exotics, you’ll find the perfect plant from our exceptional variety of trees, shrubs, perennials, houseplants, annual flowers, vegetable crops, herbs, and more including seasonal items like pumpkins and Christmas trees. They hand pruned the dead parts out of my crepe myrtles and my pyracantha. All of the ornamental grasses and liriope grasses were trimmed down and the daylilies were all cut back for winter. They disposed of the remnants of my summer flowers. They did everything I asked them to do and more. They removed every scrap of debris from my yard.
I was extremely pleased with their services. In fact, I have already asked them to come back in the spring to do the spring care for my plants. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
