Description of Work: Tachyon had given me an estimate to repair brakes and change anti-knock sensor. I took my Acura back to them and told them to do the repairs. They kept the car all day, did no repairs, and said the suspension needed immediate attention. Their suspension recommendation included replacing the struts. Tachyon had replaced all of the struts the previous year. I asked why the brakes had not been repaired and they said the rear sensors were bad, when their previous estimate said the problem was a sticking caliper. At the end of the day, they did no repairs and charged me $75.00 for the new estimate.

 + -1 moreTachyon has worked on my car for the 3 years I have owned it. It is an older car but well loved. The guys at Tachyon love cars too and make suggestions not only to repair but also for preventatives intensive. I have always been very satisfied with their work and their professionalism. The actual cost is always at or lower than the estimate and definitely lower than other comparable autoshops. They stand behind their work and even helped make recommendations on the best tires for my type of driving (they don't sell tires but still took the time to give me advice). I have recommended them to family and friends. Everyone that has used them has thanked me for the recommendation. They are just a great bunch of car nuts that care about your car as much as you do

 + -1 moreTHE ONE TIME I HAD A SMALL ISSUE A WEEK OR SO AFTER THEIR WORK, THEY IMMEDIATELY TOOK CARE OF THE PROBLEM, SHOWED ME WHAT HAD HAPPENED (DUST) AND SOLVED THE PROBLEM AT NO CHARGE.
Description of Work: THESE GUYS ARE AMAZING. THEY BELONG IN AUTO MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR CATEGORY. I FOUND THEM THRU A FRIEND'S RECOMMENDATION 7 YEARS AGO AND THEY ARE THE ONLY MECHANICS WHO HAVE TOUCHED MY CAR SINCE THEN. FAIR PRICE AND FIRST CLASS WORK EVERY TIME. THEY WORK ON VWS, BMWS AND HIGH PERFORMANCE CARS. (MY CAR IS NOT HIGH PERFORMANCE BUT THEY TREAT IT LIKE IT IS.)
