It went ok. We had a lot of issues, they had to come back a lot. So we chose not to use them again at our new home.
We had issues with programing the remote and getting the speakers to work. They had to cut a big spot of drywall, which we knew in advance. It took a month after for them to help us get in touch with somebody to get that finally fixed and finished up.
Very nice guy, but too many things to have issues with. Like we had to get the big fancy remote to come program it and it still didn't work. So somebody else had to come and mess with it. It was a total frustration after spending that much money. The system itself was good, it was just a little detailed. But it was hard to get in touch with them and get them out there. When she did finally get a hold of them and could flag down a date they were pretty good about actually being there when they said they were going to be.
We didn't really compare prices and look at anyone else.
"Thank you so much for your feedback. Although our overall rating was a B, we hate to hear of any dissatisfaction our clients have with our product & services and work hard towards resolving any issues. As with any large scale project, especially with electronics, there were a couple bugs with system programming that needed to be resolved. Brian was in constant contact with [Member name removed] when issues presented themselves, by following up by both email and/or text and deciding on a time that would work for both of them. Our appointments were kept and problems were resolved on the date of the appointment. An exception was the programming appointment in which a second visit was necessary. As far as the drywall issue, yes, it did take too long for our drywall sub-contractor to get out and take care of the patch. This was also frustrating for us too as we know you were anxious to patch the hole. I have a feeling this is where the responsiveness and professionalism grade came from. There were other issues in regards to the new and existing system. One was a satellite provider problem and other was networking and system update issues, both either beyond our control or are just part of having an A/V system that’s tied to a network. Again, we set up an appointment and resolved the problem as soon as possible. We did not charge for these additional service calls even though several of these issues had nothing to do with the work we completed. We hope that you are still enjoying your home theater system and would like the opportunity to discuss this more in person. Although we feel that overall we went above and beyond to ensure a satisfied customer, obviously there were some things we could have done better. We thank you for bringing this to our attention. We appreciate your business and hope that we can work together again on your future projects."
"Thank you, [removed member name], for the great review. We always strive for complete customer satisfaction. Doug is ready to head over to complete the tweeks to your system as soon as you have time. Thank you again and we look forward to working with you on your next A/V project."
I would recommend this group to anyone. I had three estimates for the same work, and by far this group was the most reasonable, the most professional, and were an absolute pleasure to work with.
Brian Bennett was quick to schedule an appointment to come to my home to give me a quote to install my home theater/ stereo system. He arrived on time, gave me a price, and recommended the addition of a remote to control all of my devices.
He and another tech did the install a couple of days later. They made several recommendations to make my system even better. They made sure everything worked perfectly and even swept up their small mess! There was no additional charge to upgrade the operations of my system or to install the remote, even though it was a somewhat lengthy process. I inquired about setting up Netflix on my t.v. Brian recommended several other free sites, waited for me to sign up for them, and then set them up on my t.v. He patiently showed me how to use everything and made sure that I was comfortable with it. They were here alot longer than originally planned, but didn't try to charge me extra.
I am extremely impressed with every aspect of Spectrum Sight and Sound! I would highly recommend this company!
